Hi! Thank you for the video! I don't know if you're still replying to comments in this thread, but, if so, I'm wondering if it could be more convenient to drain the wash water while the clothes are still in the unit -- so that you're not pulling them out of a sloshing five gallons of water? Not that they would come out any dryer, but...do you feel draining before removal might splash less water during the transfer of items from the wash cycle to the interim container? Will the machine drain while the clothes are still in it? Thanks, again, for all the work it took to make this video and get it edited and uploaded! Love the thoroughness and detail! And love it that you mentioned the Scrubba. 👍🙂

Hi! Yes, it would be less “messier” but I didn’t explain “why I take the clothes out. Usually, I will have lint and pet hairs on my clothes. Most every time, I have to clean the bottom so they don’t continue in the clothes throughout the process. There are some “floatable lint catchers” available that would eliminate that and then draining the clothes directly after the wash would be advisable. I hope that answers your question. Happy washing! 😊

Excellent video. I bought this washer 7 months ago to have for this summers 1 month camping trip. I’m camping and needed a refresher in how to use since I only tried it 1x when I got it to be sure it worked. Your video was a perfect walk-through! Thanks for taking the time to make this video!

@OutdoorDashTravels - LISA - Thx for the demo! I really like mine. Does a great job for what it is. I can put 2-3 T-shirts, shorts, uddies, and 2-4 wash clothes. Then hang dry or laundromat dry.

It’s an awesome machine for what it is! I use it mainly for the spin dryer but have the option for the wash too! Sometimes you can catch this on sale and cheaper than just the spin dryer!!!

Nice video on keeping clean on the road. 😊 The only part I don’t like is wringing out the clothes by hand 🤚 I’m unable to do that 😮😅 Thanks for the info Lisa 😊

I understand. That is why I state it is a manual wash. if you cannot, this may not be your washing machine. I agree...keeping clean on the road is essential to your health. Thanks for the comment Lori.

No wringing necessary. Wash, drain, rinse, drain, remove clothes to a bucket, put spinner in, add clothes, spin dry. She's using the same water for other loads which adds more steps.

Great video. Ty! I have a purple one with two sides one wash one don't but it's a little on the large side. Not quite panda size but larger.

Oh wow! The medium size ones I didn't like as it didn't really hold more than my Scrubba Wash Bag. I got more done with the wash bag and used less water. But, if it works for you...fantastic!

Are you able to wash x-large blue jeans in the Drop? I've watched what few videos about this unit but haven't seen them wash jeans.
@OutdoorDashTravels
@OutdoorDashTravels 10 ай бұрын
No. This is not for these. The fabric is too heavy for the washer to move around. I would suggest a dual, washer/spin dryer.

Thank you for your quick response. I have tried a few of those machines and they are unreliable. Unless it comes from the Laundry Alternative, I won't buy one.. Looks like the Poseidon will be my alternative. God bless!@@OutdoorDashTravels

I have this, and I love it. I do have to do separate loads, but it's great.

I agree but takes a ton of water. So I make sure to do at least two loads per 2.5 gallons.

Thank you for this review and in depth demonstration. I've been considering this machine. Do you think it would hold a twin sheet? I like the size of the machine because I have limited space
@OutdoorDashTravels

It says it will hold up to a queen size so I would think…yes. But that would be the only load.

@@OutdoorDashTravels they make a Ninja spin dryer and it's supposed to be very good but it doesn't wash .. I was thinking of getting it but this would save space .. your Scrubba does a great job!

The Nija is great but believe it or not, the Drop was cheaper so I got it as a “backup” for when I’m pressed for time. I can set for 10 min, cook something and then come back to it.

somehow i missed the name of this washer machine ...I have the Niagara Washer it does a big load of clothes and i love that fact, but it doesn't spin=wring water off clothes and a the ninja spin spin dryer from the Laundry alternative .... i love both but hate having to take wet clothes is a hassle for me
@OutdoorDashTravels
@OutdoorDashTravels 10 ай бұрын
If you are looking to do large loads, this would not be the machine for you. It only handles a small load. I mainly use it for the spin dryer. It’s spins like the ninja. It’s called “The Drop” from Laundry Alternative.

I think it would be better to put detergent in first at the bottom , then add dry clothes to the maximum line, add water till you reach the maximum line and then press start.
@OutdoorDashTravels
@OutdoorDashTravels Жыл бұрын
Agreed. But in the end…it all gets mixed up pretty well as long as you give “room” for the clothes to agitate. ☺️

Can this be used in bathtub?
@OutdoorDashTravels
@OutdoorDashTravels 8 ай бұрын
If you use the tub, I would only use it to drain as the motor is located in the bottom of the machine. This should not get water in it. Maybe put it on a stool in the tub and drain it down the drain. When washing/spinning, have it in the tub alone so it doesn’t fall off.
