I have one for ya! Another scifi future flick that has water as the primo resource. "Ice Pirates" I absolutely LOVE that movie. I first saw it when I was just a kid, and I didn't get most of the humor. Adult humor. Now, to me it's one of those old, corny, cheesy flicks that I go back to once a year or so. You gotta watch it.... Jason: The manifest Roscoe: Box B-28 Jason: 28?... 25, 26, 27... B28... oh no [hands egg to Roscoe] Roscoe: What is it? Jason: Space Herpe. Roscoe: herpe? Jason: Dormant form. uh - Keep away from heat and - uh - moisture. Extremely dangerous when activated. Antibody - oh boy - unknown.

That list of bad apocalyptic cliches was good, spot on. The 80s was a really good time when censorship wasn't blown out of control, but I do always love an antihero and admittedly generally tend to cheer for the bad guy. And that bad dubbing really is part of the charm, who cares, it's fun. Finally, was that a gunshot sound effect when the kid threw the rock into the guy's skull? Oh you, you sassy Foley guys are at it again.

I remember seeing a Terminator rip-off as a kid that I'm so sure was called The Exterminator. It was about someone from another planet impregnating a woman he meets in a nightclub. Bizzarely, he impregnates her with a kiss (perhaps I'm misremembering.) He and the woman are then pursued by a Terminator-like being, culminating in the heroine giving birth (an accelerated pregnancy helped along by digesting a few 'pebbles') aboard a sky tram with the 'Terminator' in pursuit. They electrocute him at the end and I think the hero returns to his decimated planet with the child, but my memory really tails off at the end. Only mentioning it because I've never been able to find out what that movie was and I keep hoping it turns up on your channel. The title of this recent video had me hoping! I'm probably terribly wrong about the film's title...
