Tyson missing that shot always bothered me. Even when I was a kid. Then I grew up, went to the military, started firing guns myself and the realization of just how ridiculous it was is mind blowing. I once did a test in the woods to see if I could miss at that distance. After hitting the target three times I CLOSED MY EYES while firing to see if I could miss…I did not 😐 Still love the movie though 😂 PS Megan Ward will always be one of my all time crushes ❤️

Watched this movie as a kid apparently. Could never remember the name, but had pretty good memories of certain scenes (scooping water out of the toilet, guy getting lifted to the light and electrocuted, robot stepping on baddie at the end) Have never seen the other 'Jox' movies. Got here via a wiki dive looking up old actors from kids movies and seeing what else they had done. Was looking up the cast of The Land Before Time, voice actor for Cera's father (Burke Byrnes) was in Robot Wars and seeing the movie poster for that triggered the memories. Poked around the wikis for the Robot Wars and Robot Jox and eventually found out about Crash and Burn. Came to youtube, typed it in. Found this video. Thanks for filling in some holes from my childhood. Now off to find the cure for trying to wiki dive my insomnia into submission.....again.

Looking back at the Full Moon catalogue now, these films were all such cheesy schlock- but I actually liked this movie back in the day. Probably because I developed a *huge* crush on Megan Ward after seeing this...... One thing I would like to point out- the writer(s) must have watched far too many 80's cartoons. The megacorp name "Unicom" was taken from the U.N.-like group in Challenge Of The GoBots, and the "synthoid" idea was ripped off from the G.I. Joe series.

FYI, the only way we can lose the "ozone layer" is if the sun stops shinning,.. solar radiation is what creates ozone in the upper atmosphere, it is 3 atoms of ionized Oxygen, and doesn't stay formed for more that 40 seconds since it is an unstable gas,.. the only time there is ever a "hole" in the "ozone layer" is when a polar region goes into its winter season, since there is no sunlight in those regions during this time, there is a lack of ozone creation, giving you that dreaded "hole in the ozone layer,.. that is completely natural and of no concern to anyone. Volcanoes and clouds have more of an impact on earth's temperature than all of humanity through out the entire industrial age.
