thanks for the explanation. a question here : what happens if a node goes down? will externalDnS try to remove the record for existing nodeport services and update the IP of the load balanced services if the il went down? is this a built in feature or does it come from other tools? cheers

Thanks, very useful! One side note. Isn't it like a minor security flaw to keep some metadata in the TXT record? It kinda exposes some information about your cluster outside.
