From my experience, this pipe OD is 42/44 inch with thickness more than 100mm. (Because using a mesh) Density 3040 kg/m. Mix design actually has set in QP/ITP. Usually : - Iron ore 75% - Cement 18% - water 6% - sand (optional) Then we looking for the parameter coating . Direct on the computers we looking for each speed properly. For Cement drag speed, Hopper speed.. Then after found the parameter mechanical speed for getting the % refer to Mix design, continue to run by spraying the CWC direct to pipe rotating.. Some other parameter to get : - travel buggy speed - rotating buggy speed - small speed, main speed, transfer belt speed.. Above to find the parameter set: Overlap, pattern, picth.. I

What was it like in 1990? The process I've seen coats a pipe with rollers above the pipe and the pipe has a steel cage fitted instead of the mesh being applied here.

For the mesh width itself, depend on the picth , overlap do want to get. Usually it attached on the ITP/QP.. Example : OD pipe 42 inch. Thickness 120 mm. We have to Coat 2 times. The 1st coated no need mesh.. But the 2nd coated we need a mesh.

@@nishalgupta if the pipe coated refer to OD pipe and from my seeing (i am sorry if wrong), the thickness CWC was 95mm. The weight saturate 3116 kg/m3. So you can cross to the length of pipa coated
