I got really worried that this could end up on an 3-0 by the looks of the first two duels, but games 3 and 4 (this one in particular is one of the best i've seen in all of the CBC) gave me the biggest hope ever. Then, that Ash to Maxx C crushed all of my dreams again, but anyways, Lithium once again showing us he is the Monarch god. So glad it made it to top 16! Lunalight beats Draco 3-2

I was rooting for Monarchs to win but I knew Eldlich Synchro was taking this one :( I'm thinking Lunalight's taking the next one 3-2, definitely a match where going first is very important

So close but as someone who voted for monarchs I am not disappointed simply the Monarchs Monarch himself piloted the deck ! Great duels as always and hey the positive side we will still have Lithium piloting the deck in future episodes ! =D

But game 4 the Eldlich Synchro player misplayed xD Could've easily still gone Auroradon combo turn 1, ending on the Savage + Librarian + all the draws. I mean, this should've been a 3-1, putting Monarch at 7. They'd still go on to top 16 since they won the matchup vs Lunalight, so there isn't really a difference I guess?

In game 4, how come the Eldl synchro player decided to make baricade with apprentice and halq and not apprentice and eldich? Then halq and baricade can make aurodon as you already discarded deskbot earlier that turn? Was it just a case of not seeing the line?

I knew this match would be rough to monarchs but still manage to steal 2 games and get into top16, I'm happy for that! Also, just asking, why the Draco vs Luna match's have to be played? I mean, the result doesn't affect the outcome of that group Anyways I can't wait to see another video of true draco getting smacked

In game 4, shouldn't he end on herald and savage by link edlich and apprentice illusion magician into barricade then auroradon with deskbot 001 in GY? Adding cursed eldland for follow-up seems pointless against the hand shuffle.

@@plebboy72 yo i read those cards just now and damn i wanna try building monarchs with them. Any tips? Cuz on paper it is absolutely incredible u pop off with some good cards test out for hand-traps, put interruptions besides your monarch part of the deck.

@@eleonarcrimson858 yeah also interaction with Kuraz is nice for draws but the only problem for me is that Im not sure what else is usefull in the extra deck besides Pleiades...could technically splash Zaborg the mega monarch. I kinda played around with including allure of darkness and a fusion destiny package (malicious as tribute fodder, celestial for draw power and dynamite for the pop, plus if u go into DH Dangerous you could use Erebos as Fusion Material, also if theyd survive a turn rank8s would be possible) but it adds 7 cards of which 4 are kind of bricks

@@plebboy72 what i am thinking is to play a synchro package of karakuris to just make negates so that my opponent has to stop the warriors and when they do u hit them with the monarchs. Cuz monarchs are bad into handtraps. And what was the kuraz interaction you were mentioning?

@@eleonarcrimson858 you can always scale the symphonic warriors u dont need to get draws with kuraz (bit like brilliant fusion), yeah karakuris could work, i kinda wanna try including a tiny sky striker pack since engage is back to 1... worst case its a 1 card 2 tributes with double usage of the token creator into 2 extra deck Sky Strikers

Monarchs ALMOST pulled it off there. If not for the Ash in the final game, they might have had it. Going Lunalights 3-2 next match. Dingirsu is the Bain of True Dracos existence.

It is a bit anoying especially since Linkross is more powerful of the 2. If Halq got banned Linkross would still be one of the best cards if not the best card in the game while now Halq see almost no play. That said Halq would also be great with all the banned tuners, but I still think it wouldn't be as good as Linkross

Lithium always goes against the odds with monarchs. There have been so many times throughout the years on this channel where I’ve seen Lithium with monarchs go up against decks that are considerably more broken and get the W. Eldlich Synchro is one of the strongest decks of the past few years and monarchs just barely got edged out...if that ash blossom hadn’t have been there in game 5, the result might have been different.

So two decks with 9 points. I guess Danger Thunder Dragon, Edlich Synchro and Adamancipator are this years title candidates. On a side note: In this CBC Maxx C has often stopped many combo decks in their track. I think it slows down the game even more than Nibiru. Not saying it should return but I think it should return to 3 copies just like in the OCG. I know many people will disagree with me but I think at this point it's actually healthy for the game

Game 4 honestly was lost just because the Eld player misplayed hard. With that hand, they could've easily played through Veiler. But that's a common theme with Eld; people assume it's easy to play and not too good and end up losing more than they should. Good match nonetheless.

Time and time again Maxx C just carries these OCG lists to the top, it's an absolute format warper of a card especially here. Next match, a shame it does not matter at all, but it's interesting. Peak of R4NK vs Peak of Tribute mechanic. Have to give it to Lunalight...tbh, the floodgate build of Draco would do much better than the Master Peace build.

Ash Blossom is actually extremely healthy. It allows the player going second to interact with their opponent in a game built on interaction.
