Previous generations are always complaining about the internet and saying that it is so bad but it's so beneficial. I mean I would be failing in GCSE english without Mr Bruff videos!
@tm-ti3gg7 ай бұрын
They wouldn't be so hard in the first place if it wasn't for the amount of knowledge we are able to consume with it. Old exams were much easier as they suited the time, but these ones are nuts in terms of content. Still the internet is a better place with channels like these

*IMPORTANT* _You should make a video called "English GCSE Exams Guide 2020" and in the video you should go through how to answer EVERY question from Paper 1 and 2 of Language and 1 and 2 of Literature. At the end state some useful tips_

I have that. Look at my Language playlists for a start. The first five videos in each are animated guides doing just what you’ve suggested.

I compare 'The Prelude' with 'Bayonet Charge'. Both poems share the themes: fear and bravery.However, the themes interchange between both poems, at obverse times. In 'The Prelude', the speaker was happy, fearless, adventurous, having some sort of pride, however, as the speaker continued, we are made to realise that his pride vanished because of fear of nature, more of power of nature. Also, in 'Bayonet Charge', in the opening lines, the soldier was bewildered about war, however, despite his objections, at the closing lines of the poem, he had become a killing machine. Both poems share the themes of fear and bravery.

But I think "The Prelude" shares the theme of "Beauty and Fear".

Hey there sorry for disturbing I know I shouldn't be writing below this video as my question has no relevance to it. Basically I did my aqa gcse english language paper 2 today. I entered the exam hall and noticed that the digital clock was switched off. I asked if the invigilator could turn it on. She refused and she said there was a analogue clock in the other side of the room and I could just use that. Regardless of me wearing glasses I still could not see the time as I was completely in the other side of the room. I started the exam and half way through I raised my hand to ask her the time as I could not see it. She ignored me. I did q5 the time was up. And my q2 was left blank. So that's 8 Mark's gone just because a rude invigilator refused to switch on a clock. What should I do? As I really need a high grade to do medicine. I spoke to the exam officer she said she was sorry and that she could not help. They will make sure that next time it wont happen. But what about me???!! Please help I'm really frustrated Re I am pretty sure it's illegal to not have a digital clock in the room ..

in my exam hall we only have analogue clocks. maybe you could talk to your exams officer and request that you sit closer to the clocks? or maybe get a new prescription on your glasses?

This compares to London in the way in which it describes the insignificance of mankind’s power in comparison to that of natures. In both poems the juxtaposition between the desperate and inflated power of man to the ‘huge’-ness of nature is featured.
