It’s not so fun when you clean the kitchen just to extract the honey but then have to clean it again cause everywhere was sticky 🤣🤣 in places we didn’t even touch 🤣🤦🏼♀️ was so enjoyable though I can’t wait to do the next lot now ❤ so proud of you xxxx

You have been our Friday night entertainment. When I asked Harvey what he thought of it, he firmly stated “I love that!”. Excellent work mate xx

Thanks Danny. Always good when you can take off a crop, there is always a demand for honest produced local honey (do treat your good lady with at least some of the proceeds) 😊. Likewise with any surplus nucs in the spring, there will always be someone local who will be interested anf its nice to pass on your knowledge to them, but make sure you recover your costs, as equipment is not cheap. Cheers. Peter😊

Looking forward to watching the rest of this tomorrow Danny. I'm only a few minutes in. Just a tip, I was advised to cut from the bottom going up rather than from top to bottom. Hope that makes sense? I bet the dogs loved them smell! 😂

@@stewillo86 ahh thanks, yes dogs loved it, they were desperate for some lol… I’ll try bottom up next time then, give it ago.👍

@@dcleal1 Each to their own Danny, I'm led to believe it's supposed to be a bit cleaner doing it that way that's all. Do what suits you. 👍🏻

The red thing is your uncapping fork. Our first year we decided to do the extraction in the shed only my son then cut his hand resulting in me making a mad dash with him to the medical centre for stitches and guess what, in our mad rush we forgot to close up the shed and id say every bee in the neighbourhood was in there robbing the honey 😂 Didn't make same mistake again

You should shake the bees off the frames, or you will have a load of drones stuck above the QE
