Some might call countries like Syria, Somalia and South Sudan "failed states", since they are unable to function correctly for a couple reasons. In this video we'll go over those reasons by using the factors of the Fragile States Index and we'll also look at a few empires who fell due to those factors.

The Bronze Age was surely a domino effect. Egypt was experiencing a food shortage due to improper farming techniques and the destruction of land, Greece was relying on imports of copper (or bronze? I forgot), and the east was basically a trade empire that faced external pressure. Then you throw in the sea people. And everything spiraled down.

Where'd the subtitles go? I understand you got a better mic, but your mic was never the problem. Its speed and pronunciation. The problem of talking too fast to understand words cohesively is seen throughout the video and pronunciation can be seen when you talked about the Muslim face coverings that women wear that are illegal in a bunch of countries that i don't know the name of because again, pronunciation.

But further north in the US, nations such as the Powhatans, Susquehannock.
