My guest on this episode of Extraordinary Life Stories knows these stats only too well.
It’s literally the Y behind his Clinical trials at #Harvard - to find a cure to prevent these very stats.
Professor Dan Nicolau is a #mathematician , medical doctor, #physician and #engineer
He has 6 university degrees!
Dan’s ground breaking clinical trials at ‪@harvard‬ focuss on managing the #inflammation and not focussing on ‘cancer is the enemy’
We have NOT made much progress on curing cancer at all in the last century, and that’s because we keep on trying to kill the cancers.
He explains to me that every attempt to cure cancer is through a form of #attack. Why? Because humans traditionally always attack any threat! #chemotherapy is literally a nuke attack.
Cancer cells are not #parasites. They’re part of us and have no desire to kill us.
So whilst talking with me, to deliberately avoid complicated jargon, Dan relates to #cancercells as organised crime - the #mafia.
If you go all out attack on #organisedcrime, they go to ground and they move. And that’s exactly what cancer cells do when threatened. And that so often can end up being #fatal.
If instead the organised crime are infiltrated with #espionage, given welfare and a sense of belonging, then it’s ultimately controlled.
Dan flew to #London from Harvard where he is carrying out his ground breaking clinical trials, to film this #interview with me. I found him fascinating to talk with 🤯 👏🏼
