‘Selling Sunset’: Jason Oppenheim REACTS to Chrishell & Marie-Lou's Feud (Exclusive)

“Extra’s” Melvin Robert sits down with “Selling Sunset” boss Jason Oppenheim at his new state-of-the-art office to dish on the drama in store for Season 7. Jason opens up about cast mate and O Group agent Amanza Smith’s very scary health battle, plus a tense confrontation between Chrishell Stause and his then-girlfriend Marie-Lou Nurk. He also talks about Heather Rae El Moussa not being featured on this season. “Selling Sunset” Season 7 is streaming on Netflix November 3.

Marie Lou seems like a genuinely sweet and kind person, who does not want any conflict. Chrishelle was immediately aggressive and defensive towards her. The reality is, it isn’t healthy to maintain contact with your ex partner and expect your present partner to feel comfortable about it. It’s not called being jealous, it’s a normal reaction, Chrishelle is shady for wanting a friendship with Jason, but not making the effort to get to know his girlfriend and make her comfortable with their friendship. Especially when Jason’s girlfriend approached it so kindly and maturely.

@@roter13 probs due to a warped way he sees women, people in general, as resources. There’s a reason both him and Brett are still single, have commitment issues at 40+. Before launch of new office, scene when Marie-Lou joked asking for a proposal in Paris, his response was “I have so much work on tonight”, gives insight into the way he views commitment. Mary said he cheated on her during their relationship. He might be able to let go, but he likes to keep his relationships close in his own way, possibly so he/Brett can control/manipulate, grow their brand. He’s attractive because he has status, power so harder for exes to leave him unless they feel they are in a good position themselves e.g Chrishelle willing to stay in a separate villa, keep the relationship professional as she understands healthy boundaries and her financially stable position These dynamics happen all the time, just at diff scales Wonder what HR would say about recruitment there lol

Chrishell doesn’t need to be friends with anyone Jason has previously dated or will date in the future. She’s only friends with Mary bc they genuinely like each other and were friends before chrishell and Jason dated. He also needs to step it up as the owner of the brokerage. 11/8/23 Chrishell wasn’t the problem with Jason’s relationship Marie Lou was. Insecure and Immature for a Model ( probably bcz age 😂)she was obviously jealous of Chrishell! She told Jason I’ll leave the office to keep the peace, just tell me to go, said No. Marie Lou lied about things said to her by Chrishell (all on film!). Wanted a ring, many hints dropped 8 mos is quick to be wanting a 💍 Jason still loves Chrishell, imo. Cute Couple ❤

I lost interest in this after season 5. The women they added🤮 to the cast are dogs compared to the original cast and the drama is so staged, it’s almost predictable. It never fails, they take a good show with good ratings and mess it up. I wish they would stop trying to fix something that isn’t broken.
