Hello! My name’s jaii and I’m a teenager. I just wanted to thank you because I haven’t had much motivation lately and this really helped me get my room cleaned. Thank you so much!

@princeejaii I bet your mom is very proud of you! And give yourself a big pat on the back for getting your room cleaned!! I have teenage grandsons.. I’m going to share Ashley’s video to them because if it helped you, maybe it’ll help them with their rooms! We ALL need motivation.. some more than others! I need it A Lot! I commend you for watching and taking it upon yourself to get motivated!! You sound like a very mature teenager!! Sometimes I ‘overthink’ what I need to do.. and that’s worse than the actual work!! You’ll be very successful in life because you recognized a problem and found a solution.. A lot of teenagers (and ppl in general) don’t have that kind of drive or discipline! Bravo young man💪🏼👊🏼

I know this was posted months ago, but I just found your channel the other day and I have been binging your videos, LOL! I've had a rough few years (lost my 12 year old daughter and then my husband) and depression got me. I let so much go and I'm just now re-finding motivation to do things and your videos have helped inspire me to get back on the horse and get back to cleaning/organizing! Just yesterday I tackled a pile of clothes that had literally just sat for almost 2 years. Got them donated, washed those I am keeping, and now I have my folding table back in my laundry room!

Reminds me that I need to start deep cleaning the house. Keep seeing Spiders in different random spots. I wish I could be where you are at like being able to keep a clean house. I have 5 kids. 3 are 4 and under and I have two 9 year old step daughters(not twins)(different moms). Plus we have 4 animals. Constant messes and seems like not enough time in a day to keep up on it all.

Paper towel works really well on the bottom under the drawers to absorb spills and easier to clean I leave a little out from under to catch the front spills !!! That's one job I do not like to do especially if I don't get to it soon enough and it gets really sticky or stuck on YUK LOL !!! it reminds me to change it out and a quick wipe !!! Hope it helps make that job a little easier for you !!!

Learned from cloth diapering my baby… after you shampoo your rug take it out to let it dry under the sun. That will kill germs, make it brighter and take out the smell for sure. Depending on how hot it is outside It could take three days for smell to go away, I’m not sure for a rug. I also notice it helps couches when we wash it out side all the smell went away after leaving it out for days. The sun is a natural bleacher and disinfectant. 😊

I've found that if I add about half a cup of my favorite fabric softener to the water and carpet cleaner I don't that weird smell. It actually makes the whole house smell amazing. I also run the machine over the carpet at least 3 times to suck out as much water as possible.

I've also found that if you put baking soda over your carpet first for like 20 minutes and then vacuum it up the smell goes away when you shampoo it after.

My sister got a door hanger and ran into a the problem of over filling it. It ended up pulling the door off it's hinges. It happened slowly over a year. So check the weight max on those things. Most doors are made from wood that are not made for holding that weight.

I recently wrote chores on popsicle sticks and that has been working well. Although I only have one kid so probably not as fun lol

Hello! I am new to your channel and am loving it so far! As a fellow dog owner (2 husky mixes🙃) I completely understand the washing machine struggles! I don't know if you already know, but I had to learn recently how to fix my Samsung washing machines error code and in doing so cleaned out the drain filter. It was really nasty but the process is really simple and even easier if you have the stands that are under the machines. I'll leave a link to the video that taught me how to do the process in case you or anyone needs to here! 🙂 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZ_ZkGWlbd99i7s
