Great design and presentation! I just bought a new boat a few weeks ago, so "another new boat" might be a couple of year away from now... But so far, this one is #1 on my "If I go Full Fishing on the next buy"-list! Well Done! Exit reality mode... Enter LOL mode... The Beam is 2,50m Width on trailer is 2,49m ... That is pure MAGIC :-) What will happen if you put both the boat and the trailer... on top of another trailer? o.0

I would love to know John's view on ride/comfort difference between Extreme and Surtees 5-6.5m cabin boat range? I've spoken to two separate people who have been in both and swear by Surtees as noticeably more stable, and comfortable. I'm only asking as in market for one of these brands, and have a seasick prone partner who I would like to make as comfortable as possible. Any advice on recommended choices would be appreciated!

I got a surtees 750 game fisher while I do believe it is a great ride very good especially with the water ballast system . However I cannot confirm stability but if I was to compare it to my mates 650 Quintrex offshore the surtees is alittle less stable but the ride absolutely nails it . The water ballast helps though and I find it is pretty stable but in comparison the Quinny does have a shallow deadrise . The extreme has chines I don’t think it will ride better stability wise I cannot confirm Goodluck I highly recommend the surtees I don’t regret my decision but you need to get used to your trim tabs and learn the boat due to little chines and a deep vee all the way to the transom ……. The ride is wetter than a extreme which is why it rides better cutting better the extreme rides higher in the water big difference in ride quality.

Been in both and the extreme is miles ahead of surtees for stability , suretees better ride in rough stuff in the 6m -7m range . Both do what you want and go to the same places. What I’d ask myself is what you do the longest. Travel or parked fishing? Then go the way that suits.
