The headboard idea was so smart and an old safe as a side table, brilliant, so full of character! A true makeover on a REAL budget. I see those baskets all the time over your shoulder and actually using them for live plants is a great idea. I'm thinking about selling a few live plants in my shop. Potted paperwhites seem to be popular right now.

I love that one green wall and the rest white; its so calming. my bedroom is sage green but all the walls and ceiling are painted and its a bit overwhelming at times. I think when Im ready to redo my bedroom Im going to just paint one wall as the focal point like yours. I love that hanging plant as well. Great job!

Elysia, you should be so very proud of yourself for doing all this on $70! I wanted a wood feature wall in my guest bedroom but couldn't afford quality wood. I was walking around home depot and noticed bundles of wood lathe and a light bulb went off. I had to purchase 4 bundles totaling $60 and started in on the wall. The lathe is skinny so it was slow going. I had 1,000 of wood nails that I got inside of an old tool box so didn't have to purchase those. I did the whole thing by hand but it was so worth it! The lathe is thin so even when it's warped you can manipulate to holding it in place! Love it!!
