In this video we're doing some extreme cleaning, refreshing my bedroom, and decluttering toys. I'm also doing a healthy meal prep (recipe below!) and sharing how I am losing and have lost the baby weight. If you love cleaning, decluttering & organizing videos, be sure to subscribe to my channel!
Ingredients:
Chicken Breast
Sweet Potato
Onion
Scallions
Roma Tomato
Lime
Rice (I used Jasmine)
Spice of your choosing (I like Chipotle seasoning!)
1. Preheat oven to 425 - wash/dry produce. Dice Sweet potato. Half onion & chop. Thinly slice scallions, separate whites from greens. Dice tomato. Quarter Lime.
2. Toss Sweet potato on baking sheet with oil, salt, pepper. Roast 20-25 mins. Combine tomato & onion in small bowl with squeeze of lime juice, salt/pepper. Cilantro is good with this too!
3. Heat drizzle of oil in small pot, cook scallion whites 1 minute Add rice/water and cook according to package. When finished, season with salt & pepper and a squeeze of lime juice.
4. Dry chicken breasts with paper towels, season to your preference and cook in a large non stick pan until cooked through.
5. Divide all ingredients into a bowl, drizzle with topping of your choice. (I mix light sour cream with water and seasoning)

That green is beautiful! My husband is also a blanket thief 🤣 Not only does he roll over with them but he ends up with them tucked under him. Because of this I have a sheet and warm blanket double folded under the comforter on my side only 🤣

I love having a clean kitchen. usually I cook 2 to 3 meals at the same time or at least do some preparing. so I definitely need space and clean items. really saves a lot of money when it comes to groceries

My newer yeti says that it’s dishwasher safe but my older one says it’s not but I always toss that one in there too. No issues. I always top rack the covers too.

We used to have the same problem with dust in our home and it greatly improved once we had our hvac system vacuumed out. It’s amazing how much dust and dog fur the previous owner had accumulated!

The corner rooms in my house get wayyyy dustier too. My office now is a middle and doesn’t get as bad but my sons old corner bedroom was the worst dust collector ever!!!!

I wash all of our Yetis is the dishwasher. My husband steals the covers too! So we don’t use a top sheet & we both have our own blanket.

Great video! You are doing awesome and from one mom to another, give yourself some grace. I eventually tired of repainting my kids table and put contact paper on the top. It cleaned easy and I could replace it when necessary.

I have the bissell my air in my room and a Smartmi air purifier for the whole house! We use the hatch sound machines but I have a sound spa sound machine in my room for the baby right now 🙂

When is the last time you changed your HVAC air filters? Make sure you change them every 3 months. This will help with the dust issue

My understanding with travel mugs/cups (former Starbucks employee) is that it’s not so much the cup, but the lid is the issue, since dishwashing may erode the rubber seal over time. I would recommend fact checking this thought, but that’s what I recall

I used hand wash my Yeti’s until I saw others on KZbin using the dishwasher so I started putting mine in there too. I checked Yeti’s website and it says they are dishwasher safe

I noticed you have an air return on your one wall which can be causing the dust. Remove the vent and have a look as you may need your air returns cleaned out.

I ruined a stainless steel mug by putting it in the dishwasher, they are insulated and it breaks down the insulation in the mug.

I hate to dust. As gross as it sounds, dust is dead skin so the more people and pets in the room, the dustier it will be.

Yeti cups are absolutely dishwasher safe. I don’t buy anything that isn’t because I hate hand washing.
