Hi Friends! Tonight I am sharing with you an updated night time cleaning routine. I am a SAHM so I wait until after the kids have gone to bed to start this cleaning routine and I keep it fairly quick and simple since I'm tired after a long day! Rio Davies our is actually propur but I totally agree! When we open the top of the filter and smell the water that’s in there before it’s filtered, it literally smells like a swimming pool because of the chlorine. Safe water is incredibly important!

That dining table is so beautiful. My mom has a similar wooden one, to protect it from stains she just got a thick *see through/invisible* (3 or 4 millimeter) plastic table cloth - maybe if you want to avoid stains, that cloth is super useful. I didn't know those thicker cloths exist before and are not that ugly, maybe that would be useful for you :) if you don't need that, just ignore that part of my comment haha Because most important: I really love all of your videos, your voice and editing is super calming and you are so motivating!!!

I used to put my glass measuring cups in the dishwasher until the measures were washed off. Now I hand wash them. Is the Thrives safe for natural stone? I saw the lemon on the container and wondered if the cleaner is acidic? I read that diluted vinegar and lemon juice as well as other acidic cleaners will etch the surface of natural stone (like Granite), over time.

Kami Lynn hi! I honestly just add in however many I want. I know I love the citrus oils and they aren’t overpowering so I add maybe 3-5 each? And then 2 lavender? it also depends on which diffuser. The aria (pretty glass one) is larger than the desert mist (pretty white one)

What do you use for laundry detergent? I've been trying to figure out what is safe to use. Was thinking of going back to using the homemade detergent with borax, washing soda, baking soda,and laundry soap bar but I don't have a way to check like you did with your cleaning supplies. Going back to just water, vinegar and a few drops of essential oils in amber spray bottles for cleaners.

Kaitlyn Cobb that’s a propur she has on the counter ! Also, just empty your diffuser , wipe it out with a soft towel. Use a qtip to clean around the bottom center metal plate of your diffuser . You can use some hydrogen peroxide also to clean it .

Kasey Corliss I just had my baby and while I was pregnant I didn’t expect my husband to do everything either. He works overnight (police officer) and then extra overtime some days. When he is home he does everything he can but it’s unfair for him to work 50 hour weeks AND clean the whole house. I actually enjoy cleaning because it keeps me busy.

Hi Allie what’s the difference between the young living essential oils and essential oil from for example amazon etc?

Glory hi!! So so much! Store bought oils likely contain fillers or even artificial fragrance which is why they are so cheap. If they are truly pure oils, they likely werent distilled at the right temp or time to get the highest amount of constituents. It’s an exact science and YL is super careful to monitor that. YL also has complete control over every part of the process from seed to seal. They own all their farms or partner with farms that also follow YL strict standards. YL never uses pesticides and actually hand weeds! And they 3rd party test each batch. And if a batch doesn’t meet their strict standards, they won’t use that batch. They will repurpose it. YL oils are crazy pure!! And crazy transparent about everything.

'They' say that using anti-bacterial products all the time is not a good idea. Apparently the germs become immune, building a resistance after a while... plus they somehow effect our bodies. 😬 I often use regular soap, and vinegar stuff.. unless someone in the house is actually sick... then I haul the bleach out.

Hey! I am trying to get into a better cleaning routine myself and was watching your video to see what your routine was like.
