I do a quick tidy of the house before bed but # 1 priority is cleaning the kitchen.

I can’t stand going to bed with a dirty house. I have a 3 year old, I work 20 hours a week from home (was full time until November) and I’m having a c-section for baby 2 on Friday. I’m very busy and very tired these days, but I cannot go to bed with a dirty house. My husband and I divide and conquer. I find it relaxing to clean the counters, so every night after my husband loads the DW, I clean the counters in our kitchen and master bathroom. He makes sure the trash goes out. I do 1-2 loads of laundry every day and make sure it’s all folded before I go to bed. It’s a good system for our household.

Hi, i'm italian and I want to give you a simple recepie with polenta that I think you will appreciate🥰. Cut the polenta into slices. Put them on a baking tray. Put on them some cream (just a little bit on each slice) and some slices of cheese or parmigian cheese. If you want you can add also some ham under the cheese. Put in the oven until the cheese is melted. The dinner is served. I hope you will find it interesting. It's a very quick solution. Have a nice day🥰

o’cedar makes a swiffer type mop that you can put your own cleaner in and the pads are washable so you don’t have to buy the replacements.

I use a O Cedar spray mop when I don't use the spin mop. You use your own cleaner and the microfiber pads can be washed. It's more cost effective I feel.

Hi Allie, i used to have a big problem with stuck on food on pots and pans in the past. I hated to do dishes after each meal. However, i realized something. This may not be for everyone, but it works for me. After i empty the pot or cooking vessel, immediately fill it up with hot water, pour in some dish soap. Let it soak until after dinner or before I go to bed. By that time, whatever stubborn set in food, will come off easily and effortlessly. On rare occasions, I leave it overnight if I'm exhausted or under the weather. Hope this helps.

4:39 you are spot on! Here I sit with a clean home and no children to clean after. I am serious when I say that you will miss this. Trace Adkins has a song about it. 😆. I’m super happy for y’all! The place is nice and perfect 😍. We have a little farmhouse with acreage. We built 2 years ago so we are still trying to get our homestead established. My husband works a lot! He should be slowing down now. May God continue to bless you and your family. ❤

I have heard that the wet swifter pads contain harmful chemicals that leave a residue on the floor. Not goods for kids or dogs.

I have hand washed dishes for 20+ year. No dish washer at any place I have lived at sence moving out of my parents home. I too have to wash dishes 2 or more times a day also. My tip is...take the time full one side of your sink with soap and water make it so much easier to hand wash. And you can just rinse them over the soapy water. And it the water gets to be to high in the sink just let some water out ever so often while wash. (Also never have had a garbage disposal in that time also.)

I honestly LOVE my swiffer wet jet! I use my spin mop maybe once a week and then I use my swiffer at least every other day or more if we have lots of messes. We have kids that homeschool and dogs and cats so the hardwoods always look dirty! The swiffer makes it so easy for a quick clean up. Highly recommended!

For floors that stay dirty, I don’t suggest a swiffer. My old floors in my last apartment were the type that stayed dirty and no matter how many times I used my swiffer wet jet on them they never got clean.

I don't have a dishwasher and I don't want one. Much easier to hand wash. First rinse any loose food off plates then stack them and cutlery in the large sink. Fill with hot soapy water. As you wash put them in the empty sink. When you have washed all of the plates etc put the pots and pans in the soapy water to soak while you rinse the first load of washing then drain and continue until done. You will find that any baked on stubborn food should come off easily after soaking.

I recommend the o cedar promist. Its like a swiffer however you can use your own solution to clean the floor and the pads are washable and better for the environment. 😊

I don't like Swiffers because of the chemicals you use in them and my kids are always on the floor.. but o-cedar actually makes a spray mop where you just use water and a dash of whatever cleaner you want to use!

As a mom of three with a dog and living on a homestead, stick mops always disappoint. The sticks feel flimsy. I never feel like my floors are clean. You can't get up anything without stepping on it to scrub it. You'll wind up frustrated once the shine factor of a new tool wears off. If you just need to spot clean, a rag will do the job.

I would call a plumber you shouldn’t need a new sink to get a disposal. Thank you for the cleaning motivation 🎉I wouldn’t buy a swifter I would buy a libman it comes with a little spot to pre-mix whatever solution you like so you can still have your non-toxic solutions and a washable mop head. It’s just a lot less wasteful as well.
