Getting the energy to get up and clean is usually not on my checklist of things that I have the energy to do. Yes! I always wash new clothes before wearing as manufacturers put a ‘finish’ on them during the manufacturing process and then there’s the residual chemicals left in the fabric which can cause all sorts of skin irritations (particularly if you get hot) like contact dermatitis etc; more important for children’s more sensitive skin .... it is recommended you wash before wearing. Lots of people don’t though - like Mike - and have no side effects .... not even slightly itchy skin 😆

I'm a working, single mom who inherited my grandparents house... so parts are redone... some parts are to come... Hi Jaime, Here in Ny the housing market exploded. My county is the highest tax bracket county and I can’t believe what the houses go for now! Trying to help my parents move and downsize and we are also finding very limited selection. A lot of people fled the city when COVID hit and started buying up whatever they could and hence the prices going up and the very low selection. Take your time your house will come and it will be perfect for you. When you started thanking us and getting a little emotional I started tearing up! I may not have ever met you but I have to tell you I watch your videos because I feel like I can relate to you . You kept me sane during this pandemic when we could not go anywhere. Watching you and other you tubers have saved my sanity and we have all gone through very similar things the past year and a half so THANK YOU! Keep it up girl!

All I can say is pray for me 😅 I've been going to school for the last year and my new semester just started. It was tough with both my kids home, but now my daughter is in kindergarten. I thought it would be better, but this gave my son the green light to get as far up my butt as possible and get into everything he knows he shouldn't. When I say everything, I mean everything. He has learned to climb our gates to keep him out of the kitchen and dog room, so now he never stays out. I would just be grateful if you would pray for my sanity 😅🙏💜💙

I ALWAYS wash new clothes before wearing them! I want them to smell nice, not chemically, and when You buy clothes that were on hangers, You never know how many people tried them on before You. I'm waiting for Your fall decorations! :)

Not only that, but the fabrics, like everything else, are coated with chemicals to prevent bacterial and microbial growth in the fabric before it passes through your door. Things can grow on the surface of those chemicals, though, and most of them are at least suspected endocrine disruptors. The things sealed in plastic are the same, and they aren't sterilized either. Creepy piece of information: feminine products aren't sterilized either.

We, too, didn’t want a fixer at our ages so we chose to build. But, our current house sold in 3 days for way-over list. I’m STILL shaking my head that someone would pay so much for our current home! Just wanted to leave a note here for you. Thanks for taking the incredible amount of time and energy to bring these videos and the motivation to us like you do. I don’t have kids living at home anymore but having a husband and 4 fur kids make up for it. I understand your storage issue with saving things for the next kid. I have 5 children and I remember how much space it took up when you save things to pass on. We too love watching Manifest and are waiting to hear if the show will happen for season 4. Keep your goals and dreams of a house that you want real. If it is meant to be, it will happen! We were finally was able to buy first ever house 2 years ago. It was only on the market 17 days and we closed in 30 days. It will happen, just keep your chin up. Jamie, your channel really helps me to know and accept that it’s ok for my house to get messy and that it’s ok to take a me day and leave the housework for tomorrow. With going to medical school full time and caring for my family it can really wear one out physically as well as mentally! Thank you for being so real and talking to us about all that you do. Housing market in our area is the same but we live in a small older house that belonged to my husband's dad who passed away and its paid for. We are in the country with cows across the street and right outside a small town but i love it so much and for us the house being paid for is paramount bc the factory my husband works at is known for layoffs sometimes. So even though things are old and broken in places ive grown to love it and i love not having a mortgage and just fixing what needs to be fixed as we go but i hear you on the storage bc we don't have thats a problem for us too. It gets crowded 😆

I know your kiddos aren't babies anymore, but I would love a video where you talk about kitchen organization for all the bottles, lids, kids cups, etc. I'll have an infant in early 2022 and I live in a condo so not a giant kitchen, and am really struggling with how to best organize all the bottles and things.
