Silly as it sounds but I missed you girlie! I know how much you love afresh clean smelling house I wonder have you tried putting a small amount of laundry scent booster directly in your vacuum cleaner? I love this because I no longer have carpets and even with a Dyson it's impossible to vacuum up. This leaves a lovely scent no matter what you are vacuuming. My other question suggestion is have you tried a product called Perfect Sink? It's amazing on stainless steel sinks and leaves a protective shield that repels water spots, your sink looks brand new after using it! Glad you had so much fun on your vacation y'all definitely deserved it! 💕

My husband and I found our current home after casually browsing for about a year. Our previous home needed some cosmetic work but was fine for us so I was not willing to move until the new house checked all our boxes. With how everything happened, I truly believe this house was made for us. It was such a seamless process. The right house for you will find you when the time is right.

Good thinking. Cause I take my vacuum part and beat the filter off of something outside 🤣👀 and I have a heck of a time at the bottom of the vacuum with hair getting rapped around it. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

I don't clean out my vacuum as often as I should. It's a Bissell canister, perforce helix I believe. I've found that the easiest way for me to clean out the canister is using a swiffer 360 duster. Anyone have any ideas for quickly and easily cleaning the brush and area it goes in? I've got a way I usually do it, but it's a pain in the butt lol. Thankfully cleaning the hose is easy, just let it suck air. Ooh, and the filters are washable lol.

Have been struggling with depression the past couple of days, and cleaning has just felt overwhelming. I have no motivation to clean, but I'm hoping I can get the strength mentally to conquer this. Thank you for posting these motivational cleaning videos, not only does it help me keep the drive to do the things I have to do throughout the day as a mom, but it also gives me a place where I can really feel like I can relate to someone.

I put my daughter in morning day care a couple of days a week when she was Addison and Emery's age. It was for socialization and she thrived! She's so outgoing now and I think it's from being around the other kids and teachers. I LOVE my Hoover pet dash! I used it on my area rugs and then went up to my mom's house and used it on hers too and the rugs look awesome.

Hi Jamie! Great video! Three things I thought about while watching 1) thanks so much for the idea to spray down suitcases after a trip! Such a great tip! 2) when you clean your ceiling fan with the pillow case, do you use any sort of cleaner? I want to try this tip - I dread cleaning our ceiling fans because it is always such a mess! 3) anyone who has watched you for awhile knows that you have a grateful & kind heart. I have always admired how much you care for your home - it shows that you appreciate your blessings. If you ever do move, your buyers will be super lucky because you have kept up your home so well. ❤️❤️

Sometimes I use a cleaner snd sometimes I don’t! I always dust first! Then if I use a cleaner, I go in with a wood cleaner!

We built our home but I agree a pre-existing home is the way to go if you can find what you like. When building, people do not take into account landscaping (they do the bare minimum), patio/deck, fence (if you want for your kids/dog). There is a lot of extra cost a lot of times with building that a pre-existing home already has! Good luck I’m excited for you ❤️

We built a home two years ago and ended up building again. We thought the first home was our "dream home" but it didn't end up being function for the way we want to live. Our families thought we were crazy to move so quickly but you have to do what works for you. And I also hope I live in the new house for the rest of my life... cause moving is CRAZY! :) good luck Jamie!

My boyfriend and I have been in our current/first house we bought off his aunt and uncle a few years ago, and just last year I graduated college and my fulltime job is 1.5 hours away that I work from home 4 days a week for and go in once. So we are casually looking for a house as well that's closer for me, but hard because my boyfriend's job is the opposite direction lol. But I completely understand wanting more backyard space. I live in town currently with neighbors on top of each other, and we have a really nice backyard but I don't like being outside much at all because I don't feel comfortable with my neighbors there too if that makes sense, more privacy is definitely something we want as well. We have been bouncing between building or buying a new house too.

Excited to think of you guys getting a new place. Let me tell you a quick story. We lived in a home that was build around 2007. The home was amazing, and we would have loved to have moved it. We had many issues that I will not go into, but we ended up moving 2 years ago September into a home build in 1971. It has had to have so many things done to make it our home, including new siding, windows, roof, new sewer line, and so much more. We are happier here than we were there because of the area of our home. Right now, we are in our forever home. We have great neighbors, no theft, no dirty water, basically living in a home that to many would be a starter home but we are ecstatic to have. We have almost 1/2 an acre for our dogs to run fenced in and our home is perfect for us. A NEWER home doesn't mean happiness, trust me. Please know that having a wonderful home doesn't mean happiness when you are not happy. Privacy is a HUGE thing for my husband and I. We need our own space. We have great neighbors now who basically mind their own except to say they may be leaving for a few days and other people may be around for dog sitting and such. I let my neighbor know, I'm glad you told me because we honestly wouldn't have noticed anything different, but now that we know we will make sure things are going well. Thanks for the video, and yes, my husband John and I will pray you will have things work out in your favor, whatever that may be...staying or moving to a different home.

You are terrific. Your young, strong and so smart. I really like the Shark steamer. I've had one for many years. My Shark has saved me from the bending over and up and down saves back pain. I like to walk around barefoot too. So Steamed floors are cleaner than just sweeping.

@@JamiesJourney I grew up on a cul-de-sac and it was the BEST experience. It was however a really long walk to any of our schools so it felt like we hit the jackpot when we found a house we loved in our price range on the same block as the school. I wanted at the time to have neighbors close by because of emergencies just in case and because it's nice to have people to talk to when you are a SAHM and around small kids all day. My husband however has always wanted to live in the country and have land. He has never needed neighbors, lol. Main reason he wanted our house when we bought it is because it happened to be right next door to his brother, but his brother recently bought a farm house and moved, lol! My poor hubby!

Good luck in your home search! We just moved last year and it was fantastic. Yes our home was sufficient for what we could afford at the time, however, we did upgrade by a few hundred square feet/and an updated kitchen. And we are so thrilled for what we got. Also, our dog was recently prescribed (probably) the same anti anxiety stuff. She has issues because we've had storms overnight and she panics. It's so hard/sad. She is at a point where she is now anticipating storms that don't ever happen so its disrupting all of our sleeps. :(

I know the feeling!!! We came back from Charleston, SC and oh the laundry!!!!!! I had to go food shopping as we had nothing in the house and dust after a week of no windows open or air on. It was so good to come home and sleep in our beds. So exciting about you guys want to move!! Never think it’s bragging for what you need to do for your family. Your current home will be perfect for the next family and you will Find your new home that will hopefully be your forever home. Looking forward to hearing more about it as it progresses. Okay so my husband thought I was Nuts for spraying our luggage after vacation. His thought process is they are going in the attic why spray them. Well like you I don’t need germs from the airports, plane storage and the hands that touched my luggage thank you very much. Glad to see you did the same thing I did! I showed him and said okay so there are more of you out there! 😊😊😊😊

We plan to build and are in the process now, its stressful but we've been planning this move for several years. Its still stressful though. Pricing of supplies and availability is the biggest thing right now. Having land and privacy is very important to us as well, do what's best for your family. Best wishes!

hey doll, in furtherance of your home goals, perhaps some small native trees (protected and/or wildlife feeders) along your property line where you hear neighbors is a wonderful investment. Either you stay and enjoy them growing and creating privacy, or your home is more attractive to potential buyers who quite possibly will notice the noisy proximity. Also, it's a lovely legacy! I can go on Google Maps to our former property and say, Wow, we did that! "The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago, the second best time is today." All the best! :):)

On the potential moving, get a notebook, label each room, write down things that you want. For example, you just painted your kitchen to make it lighter ... that is something you like, something that works for you, write it down so you remember and can review it as you look at new homes.

Hi Jamie, I have watched many of your videos. Awesome!! Almost feel like I know you, LOL. Question years ago when I had an Ocean spin mop. If you could on one of your videos show in detail how to use it. Mine would twirl around and defeat my purpose. Mop on the floor and trying to do the edge of the wall the mop would spin around and accomplish nothing along the edge. Im probably using it wrong or they have improved it ? Help.

Perfect timing! I needed a little motivation to get my kitchen picked up! Nothing wrong with wanting more privacy. Personally, having a backyard that is private is a lot nicer than having one where all your neighbors are right there on top of you. Currently we have no privacy and we can’t wait till we can move!

You dont have to explain about moving,,, we live in the UK and most gardens are fenced in so we have privacy but can hear conversations in full sometimes. We love our house and cannot invison moving anytime soon, but never say never. Great motivation again Jamie Thank you .🧡🧡🧡🧡
