I live in Michigan. This week we had a foot of snow, 50 mph winds, -18 degrees for 2 days in a row, every day since it’s been around 9-15 degrees, etc , I can’t even imagine what this must be like for you. We are prepared for all things imaginable in my state. You have my prayers as does everyone in your state and beyond. You will get through this! God Bless your family.

We live in northern Canada, just had 3 straight weeks of -50 below zero! (With the windchill factor) kids were out of school for a week straight (busses couldn’t run) I can totally relate! Difference is we are used to this type of weather and snow, but it def doesn’t make it any easier! I feel for you all! Take care. Keep warm and stay safe!

It bothers me that people are going on about how “it’s like this everyday in Canada blah blah” yes I know, I live in Saskatchewan. We had a horrible record breaking snow storm a few months ago with many feet of snow, and the past few weeks it has been -40 to -50 every day, it’s our winter normal. However, Texas and surrounding areas ARENT EQUIPT FOR THIS!!!!!! we had hundreds of snowploughs going in our city, and our power lines etc can HANDLE -50 weather!!!! They don’t get this regularly so of course their life is going to pause and they are going to have horrible issues!!!

Yup, just had -50C here in Fort St. John Canada! Nothing closes. Schools are open and business are as usual because we are a winter city. It's are norm...Now hot weather...Well let's just say if it gets above 28C we freak out. Lol, it's all relative! Stay warm :-)

Stay safe. Texas is going through it. We keep getting tons if snow here in Indiana. But we're use to that. Y'all aren't. It's been bitter cold here its -5 degrees. I'm so over all the freezing pipes and mounds of snow. Dint get me wrong i enjoy the cooler temperatures. I cant deal with the heat. It wipes me out. But i am seriously over all the snow. We live up really high on a big hill. Even with 4 wheel drive we cant make it up the driveway. So carrying all the grocery's up the hill the 22 steps is no fun. But I’m from Oklahoma here 🙋‍♀️ but we got like almost over 10 inches of snow here an we had lost water an off an on with power but I hear OGE is turning everyone’s power out so we won’t have a blackout but luckily we have some low pressure on hot water but not enough to wash clothes or do a lot of dishes with.. but our whole town right now is trying to work on the water plant to help us get our pressure back an hot water back but I hear a lot of people water pipes are busting.. ugh 😣
