Tara just a suggestion on the play room. I think it's a good idea for the kids to help out with the picking up of their toys once they are done playing. I think it teaches them responsibility but it's just a suggestion..you have a lovely home ❤

Good suggestion. My kids are 6,5,3&2 & I don't touch a thing. They know to always clean up after themselves 🙂 I just do the deep cleaning but they know to always clean up after they play especially before they go to bed every night. It will make it easier for u too Tara 😀

Magic erasers can remove paint if you rub too hard or if the paint isn’t that great of quality. Try using powdered tide laundry detergent in really hot water with a soft cloth. Works great!

I don’t like using the magic eraser on cabinets bc it does take off some of the paint and clear coating. I found that windex and damp microfiber cloth works really well.

Moving the carpet cleaner base and nozzle very slowly in each direction works very well, also doing a north to south approach, then east to west as well. Touch up with a toothbrush in cleaning solution to get to the base of the fibers. And do extra Scotchguard on every fabric surface of the home, people will come to your house to do this.

My son was around 4 or 5 months before I transitioned him to his own room. I waited until he was rolling over. I was just wasn't ready before then because I had all those thoughts of what if something happens to him in the middle of the night and I can't hear him as I am a heavy sleeper. I love this cleaning routine. My husband gets annoyed with how I do the dishwasher. He says I'm wasting water because more stuff could be added if I just organized it better. Lol 😆

Hi Tara! You mentioned that you moved most of your children to their own rooms at 5 weeks. My daughter is 4 weeks and I also wake up at every noise she makes. I’m thinking about moving her to her own room but she still wakes up every 2 hours roughly to feed (I’m exclusively breastfeeding). How did you find walking from your room to theirs in the middle of the night when they were still waking up for multiple feeds throughout the night? This is my biggest concern with moving her to her own room at this stage. Thank you! X

Two questions. What type of counters did you go with (sorry I am sure this is the millionth time someone asks) and also re: the touch ups have you tried a magic eraser or another type of cleaning solution, especially on your cabinets, wouldn't paint leave brush strokes on those super smooth surfaces? Not sure if you can buy this in the USA but I recently discovered pink solution cleaner and it's seriously one of the best cleaners I've ever used. We just bought a house to flip and it got rid of stains and rust I never thought I would be able to get off.. 5 stars
