I am to ADHD but i dont see it as disorder it is my special feature and i use a mirror to make my to do fun list so i can give me a smile and say good job sweetie i set my music my coffee and tea breaks and i split it in 3 time settings after breakfast after lunch after dinner and i never do deep clean alone with a buddy you will never loose track or get overwelmed

I suffer from a pretty severe depression, and have been for most of my life (got diagnosed 10 years ago, I am 23). because of that depression I sometimes can't even get out of bed and with ADD on top of that, keeping my home clean feels pretty much impossible. that being said, I have spent the last hour cleaning the hallway of my appartment. I'm not done with it yet, I just need to rest for a moment. but you helped me do that. I still have 4 rooms to go, after that. but the fact that I'm almost done with one, honestly makes me cry, I am so happy. Thank you so much!

You are not alone 🤍. I went through deliverance which healed me of my depression but I still have bouts (less severe) and struggle to keep a clean house, I don’t even have a very big space but like you said, it can feel impossible to get out of bed. I just got up now at 3 AM to clean a little bit and I feel better. I pray you will be healed, you don’t have to suffer forever 💟. God bless you.

I am a depressed person, and on top of living in a house at one time that I absolutely hated, I hated cleaning it, because when I did, I saw how I couldn't do anything with the house. Most people buy a house and then gut it or remove a wall or something, but everytime I suggest something like that to my husband, he said, we couldn't because it was a loadbearing wall, and when I was married to my first husband and moved to the house, he was having people coming in and working on it, and when I said I wanted new cabinets and stuff, all the contractors said, well, you can't because your walls won't allow those kinds of cabinets in it, so, everything I wanted done, I was told no, so, I really hated that house. When I cleaned, like I said, it would make me angry that I couldn't rearrange the furniture or anything. So, I was depressed for the 33 years I lived there, so I can sympathize with your depression and not wanting to clean your house. But, what I wanted to tell you is, I get overwhelmed with the thought of cleaning whole rooms, so, what I did, was I would clean a wall. Everything on that wall got cleaned and dusted. One wall had windows, a lamp, the doors, front door, the tv, the computer, china cabinet. One day, I would clean all that. The next day, I would tackle the opposite wall that had all the furniture on that side. Then, depending on how ambitious I felt, I would work on either one or both of the end walls because they were smaller. This included dusting the walls and woodwork and once a month, the walls got washed. That seemed to help me a lot just doing a wall a day. Did that with every room. I get easily distracted when I do housework, because I was born with the I HATE HOUSEWORK GENE. I HATE, HATE, HATE housework, and I will get easily distracted from doing it or I procrastinate and months will go by without lifting a finger. My poor late husband, I felt bad, but, I mean, I did clean and I like my stuff, so our house looked cluttered. But, doing the wall a day helped with my being overwhelmed by doing it all at once. I know people who spend the whole weekend cleaning or all day Saturday doing top to bottom cleaning, but, I'm not that disciplined. :D

My husband loves to cook and when I say that I mean he uses ALL the pots and pans. LOL so I always have cookware to put away. Once you get thru the initial deep clean, then it's easier to schedule the maintenance on cleaning furniture maybe every 3 mths.

I'm 73. Been cleaning a long time. Pine Sol is a big favorite. I live in a log cabin so the original smell of Pine compliments my home. Couch covers, as simple as a large microfiber blanket has been used for years because of pets. It saves a lot of work. Just toss & wash. I love my $500 Dyson rechargeable. Worth the price. I have a 3 story, 3,600 sq.ft. area to clean and I hate to tell you this, but the dirt is always with us! Your video is an inspiration & very down to earth and real.

I was raised in a small town where I felt that I missed so much of the world and then moved to a big city, where I actually lived most of my life, that was full of activity but so loud and fast. A few years ago I moved across the country to a medium sized town near the border with Mexico so now I’m right in the middle between big and small. The thing that I love the best is the racial/cultural diversity, how our lives are daily touched by different ways to live, different priorities, different concerns but how we all still manage to live and care for each other with respect. Hi I’m Norma from St Petersburg, FL and Northern, NY. I have to have a lot of help cleaning as I had Polio when I was eleven (just before the vaccine came out). Luckily, I recovered almost entirely, got married, had five children, did all my own house work,, cooking, painting,, and more. Little did I know that there was such an aftermath to come to many of us called post polio syndrome later in life. It’s not at all fun!!😫…. I happened upon this video by chance & am so inspired but am disabled & unable to clean at the level you do & I used to. Having said that, I learned things from watching you that will make cleaning easier for me. I know the contest is over but I was born & raised in Ohio until I was 18 & moved to San Francisco California bay area. I don't miss the cold winters or the humid summers but do miss living in a place where you could tell where one town ended & the next began. There are some days when Im just not able to get anything more than a corner cleaned. I love that I live in a city-state that takes such good care of its people! We have been so blessed during COVID to be given welfare, vaccines, free tests & stipends! I have lived in my town Fontana Ca just about all my life. I have seen so many changes and growth. I worked for the school district as a school bus driver and in nutrition. I also worked for a couple of doctors. I have lived in an older home on a 1/2 acre for 42 years. So growing up with friends from school and still being friends is so amazing. In fact, I married my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 42 years and he also has lived here his whole life. What more could I ask for. 💕

I love the overall friendliness of the majority of our town's residents... We've lived here for 3 short years, mainly moved for work but the niceness of people during our first visit/tour (for work) sold us on the move.

I live in Sorel-Tracy 🇨🇦 and I just love 💕 that everyone you see everywhere is so so nice, they say hi and smile back at you, they all want to help with everything always!!! I feel so safe here it’s incredible!!! Where I lived before was all the opposite. I was afraid 😳 all the time, I never looked 👀 at no one, never said hi or never ask people if they needed help. So my moving away from all that negativity made my life a real paradise and I wish everyone could experience that feeling in their life! I live in Fort Thomas, Ky! I absolutely love where I live bc I am only 5 mins south of downtown Cincinnati so we can enjoy all things like sporting events etc but have a very short trip back home to our little suburb. I have 3 children and we are ranked #1 in Kentucky as a blue ribbon school. It was super important to me when choosing where to live as I want my children to have the best opportunities they can possibly have. I also love how our community is like a family. If anyone has any emergencies or bad things happen we come together to help one another as well as celebrate the positive things in each other’s lives. We stand together in good times and bad and remain one of the safest places to also live. That along with the school system topped with the family oriented community simply can’t be beat! ❤️❤️

So just got to take a few breaks in between. Knee surgery last week got mea little behind on my housework, trying to play catch up!!

Hi Jamie, thank you for this compilation! We live in Obetz, which is a suburb of Columbus, Ohio! What I love about our village is the community: it truly is a community. There are so many events that are thrown, everyone comes together, people help each other and support each other. I grew up in this community, couldn’t wait to get away, then when it was time for me to settle down, I couldn’t wait to come back. As a public servant it was important for me to settle my family in a place that has a servants community. We support our local police and fire and when issues arise it’s taken to the community for improvement. I also love how close to Columbus we are for all of my doctors, but we aren’t IN the city!

All I wanted to do this morning was buying a nice vase so I can buy flowers once in a while, but then the home decor store had these beautiful baskets in the bathroom section for 1€ up to 3€ and I just ended up buying them, leading me into a full-blown bathroom deep clean and organisation fit 😂 you've kept me wonderful company while doing so and I want to thank you for that 🤗💖

Your videos motives me in getting out of my room and clean some parts of my parent's home from inside and out. I take care of my dad who suffers from early Alzheimers, my mom who suffers early stage of stomach cancer, and also caring for my 1st and only child, my senior pupson who's 16 also sick. My plates are fully full. So sometimes I clean, since no one at home can't help me. Watching your videos makes me relaxed, trying to distress from overly stressed every days/nights works. Awesome videos. ☺

What I love about my town of Cedar Rapids, Iowa is there are a lot of nice people. Last year, the whole town was destroyed by a derecho (inland hurricane) and we were without electricity for almost 2 weeks and my neighbors, and the local church, and several non profit organizations helped with food, drinks, ice and clean up. It was so nice of a feeling working together.

I live in Southern California. I think my favorite thing about where I live is that it’s the town that I pretty much grew up in. It’s so much bigger than what it was back then, but yeah that’s my favorite! Also, thank you for the positivity, the motivation. I’m a sahm of 3 kiddos and cleaning can be so hard and not realistic with the kiddos But watching your videos make me wanna make a way to do it!

I love in Winston-Salem, NC. It's small, and many of my classmates moved away, but I love it. I love being close to my family. The cost of living isn't bad. People still greet each other. The culture isn't so fast that you can't stop to enjoy the beautiful scenery. I feel blessed to be here. 😊
