I recommend when making dresses shorter to save a lot of fabric in the folds, so you can always make it longer when your style changes or you make it too short mistakingly ❤

I feel the same way about some of my clothing, it feels forced sometimes. I am decluttering my closet because my style has changed a lot but it also feel a bit nostalgic to let certain pieces go because of the memories I had when I wore those pieces.

I love how you had that pile of turqoise-blue stuff and girl, I relate!! My last declutter I got rid of so many blacks and grays because they wash me out completely. I looked up some colour theory and looked at the clothes I enjoyed the most and realized I am definitely a warmer type of fall-palette type of girl, so my blues went as well!

Ive been on the same journey as you for a while, the older I get the less stuff I want and the things I do want are the things I want to be able to get more use out of. For this reason I've slowly been decluttering, recycling and selling my belongings. Im hoping I can get rid of 80% of my things as Ive accumulated a lot in the past years especially from my younger days where I fell into the consumer trap! Also have less clutter around me will make my mental health better for sure, it's been so weight lifiting to see you do it so Im sure once I'm done it will feel like that for me too. Also if you sell stuff, you should do it on Vinted. Would love to buy the silver docssss
