These have been proven to be easily unlocked with a shim. Granted it would be super difficult to cut it off, but you could shim it much quicker and quieter.

Love the lock. Only problem is battery powered angle grinders as you more or less mentioned just make it so damn easy to cut even something this robust off. Thst being said, I think most theives for sure would just go find another trailer to steal.

I like the lock but I feel like you could use a sledgehammer and knock the top off. We bought the Ft. Knox lock several years ago after seeing your video. Love it! We have never had a problem.

If installed correctly, I don't believe you would be able to defeat it with a sledgehammer.... In any practical amount of time

I would check the wires on that window controller. I replaced my unit twice like he has and the wires ended up being the issue (crimped and pinched)

I have to say that lock is kind of comically large, and I would guess that the LockPickingLawyer wouldn't say it was very resistant

@@pnwdweler4100there’s already a video on it. It can be shimmed very easily. I still use them since I like the brand and it looks intimidating enough. Even without a lock I wouldn’t be too concerned about my trailers where I’m at. I have 3 of these locks

criminal sees lock but then sees the two easily removable bolts and can just remove the couple right off the frame and bolt a new one on
