It took me several days to declutter and organize this space, but I'm so happy to finally have this decluttering project done! In this extreme declutter and organize 2021 I'll be going through my toddlers entire room decluttering and organizing everything to maximize space and make room for our daughter to share the room so baby #3 can have his own nursery! What a wonderful story about your husband getting you your own tool box with tools! You were so smart to ask about this and it is very loving he responded so well and so fast... I am another woman who has her own tool kit but with an emphasis on yard and hand tools and ones made for smaller hands (which I have). My kit is made of a stiff canvas with a waterproof coating and holds tools and other items inside and out. I love it! Your doing this and sharing it with others makes me feel like I am in good company and I think it's great for your kids to see Mommy make and repair things. Nice going!

Water proof mattress pad cover!! I’ve used them on my sons bed since he was a baby…I highly recommend trying it. Having to carpet shampoo a mattress is nuts. I promise you’ll never have to do that again! My son is 5, been in his big boy bed since his 2nd birthday and his mattress even still smells new!

Donate them to the child crisis center in your area. Or to the Fire Department. When there are emergencies with kids involved, Fire fighters/emergency personnel give the stuffies to the kids. It’s so helpful. I speak from personal experience.

The best toy organization method I did was an 8 cube turned long ways and I put his TV on top I almost used it like a TV stand... and all his small toys fit in all 8 bins and the bigger toys go in his large toy box

I feel like as a mom I have to say no to so many things that if my daughter wants a new toy I can say yes for a change. We do donate often as new stuff comes in. Few ideas for you.... you just got the 12 cube organizer; but in the kids combined closet, what if you put 4 shelves in the middle then hanging rods on the top and bottom of both sides??? That would give the kids each 2 spaces for hanging clothes plus you would have shelf storage for diapers & wipes, wicker baskets, etc. For outside balls, attach bungy cords going verbally between 2 of your garage wall studs. It will make an easy storage space for outside basket balls, foot balls, kick balls, soccer balls etc. For stuffed animals, you could make a tall rectangular cube out of 2 × 4's and then attach bungy cords on the sides so the kids can have a stuffed animal zoo.

I LOVE the vinegar gel. I use it in my sink after I scrub it. Use a clean cloth and rub it on sink don’t rinse. It helps keep sink cleaner longer. Water just slides off surface. It is my favorite Mrs. Meyers product

My son had the same problem. I wrap the mattress in cling wrap It’s very thin so it doesn’t make any noise under the mattress protector. I cut him off liquids at 6o’clock right after dinner it has been working fantastic.

If you are trying to add space to your kid’s bedrooms... May I suggest putting the little gray and pink chairs in the living room where you had the little gray activity table before? It will make more floor space in both bedrooms.

If you have a place to store toys where the kids can’t get to, put some up. Then rotate them. That way they play with fewer toys and you will have less mess. They can only play with so much. Throwing all the toys on the floor is not necessarily playing with them. It wears you out. Lol Awesome handy woman. They have a set of pink tools. Your children are too cute.
