I would call the standard American diet an "extreme diet" considering how many people die from it every day
@HelenEk7

As a European I find the Standard American Diet absolutely shocking. Sadly we are also moving in the that direction, although there seems to be some sort of a awakening happening over here where people have started to see that there is a difference between real food (wholefoods) and fake foods (fast-foods and other ultra-processed foods).

As a scientist, the recent research on Intermittent Fasting proves only one thing ...... A few people lose weight on it because it helps stop them eating extra calories. Home broth is hardly something new ..... It has been used for hundreds of years to feed people who are recovering from illness. It does not have miracle results. The Jewish idea of "chicken soup" works the same way as bond broth. By the way, bone broth is often called consomme. Opioids are useful for people who genuinely require pain relief to function ...... And when they are kept at low doses. Carnivore is useful as an initial elimination diet. If you suffer from certain conditions like IBS, the foot cause may be anxiety ... Or it may be a particular food group. Remember something virtually all the doctors pushing strange or restrictive diets ..... Are MAKING MONEY. I once was at a medical conference which was attended by a famous Carnivore follower ..... And witnessed him eating both fruit and bread. A couple of us questioned him ..... He grinned and pointed at his expensive sports car ..... "My followers paid for that". There is absolutely no secret to healthy lifestyle. Eat a varied whole foods diet and avoid take away and ready meals. Limit alcohol. Don't smoke. A little exercise. You don't need vitamin supplements unless your bloods have specifically shown issues.

@@alexandrasmith7682 You get obese when you give your body more than it can handle in glucose. Starches, plants, grains will break down to glucose. Your body only needs 4g of glucose to function properly and your body can make that. Why give it more? There is no "regardless of method you use" - if you go vegetarian, vegan or any other diet that says "moderation" will fix you - you are not realizing that it isn't about moderation - it's about WHAT you are eating. Like Chaffee said: meat has everything we need, there isn't anything we have to get from plants. Nothing.

I dont recall Dr Chaffee trying to sell anything. He should not be tarred with the same brush as Gwyneth Paltrow or expensive telemedicine quacks. I have a difficulty with Dr Idz because, once you make your name as an iconoclast, your profile depends on being oppositional and shouting at the camera. It's worth noting that 'lifestyle medicine' is heavily based in Adventist influenced plant based eating. I note your interviewer didn't question veganism as an 'extreme diets'

Since posting this story, 60 Minutes Australia has changed the title of this video 3 times. From “Carnivore diet and other wellness myths busted” to “Is your diet making you sick” and as of this post, “Extreme diets and health trends people are swearing by”. I looked through about 50 top comments on this story, all of which from what I could tell, we’re talking about the carnivore diet in a positive light. Calling it a “myth” was a misstep obviously. Also the first title appeared to focus mainly on the carnivore diet. Carnivore doesn’t get talked about until the 12 minute mark and is covered for less than 5 minutes in a 28 minute story. I believe every lifestyle, even the ones I believe in, are deserving of scrutiny. However I believe they did a poor job of covering this lifestyle that was lumped in with vagina scented candles, IV drips and social media moguls who over price supplements. I understand it’s hard to cover carnivore in less than 5 minutes but the framing of the story wasn’t done well. You don’t need to buy anything extra to be carnivore other than changing your foods purchases. If anyone tells you so that is misleading.

Glad you were so observant as I avoid mainstream media, because to me it’s just propaganda and the advertisers are always the ones being protected for fear of losing advertising revenue (which is understandable - but contrary to impartial informative constructive journalism). Actually, to even call what they produce now journalism is an insult to the trade. Your depictions are spot on and I’m glad you highlighted these important points. Media (even ABC and SBS) are all what I call “western propaganda”, hence why I want nothing to do with it and this is why I only found out about this 60 minutes article today. 60 minutes should be ashamed of putting together such trash. Nevermind, could we actually expect any better? Actually, from 60 minutes, I did expect a higher more informative look at what the health benefits are. It’s a missed opportunity. Perhaps they are worried about Big Pharma being upset! Excellent comment by the way.

I get comments all the time, people telling me I 'lack nutrition by just eating meat' but I have stopped caring and now think to myself 'come see me in 10 years when your health issues are piling up and I look and feel half my age'. I am forty years old and I feel better than I did when I was 25. Been on the carnivore diet for about two years now. My IBS is gone, my hair and nails grow like crazy and my anxiety levels have dropped severely. This. Thing. Works. Just give it a try, if only for a month. Don't let people scare you off.

If meat makes you sick, you either have been conditioned so or ruined your health to the point where the most biologically appropriate and available food does not bode well with you. If you avoid meat, your body adapts and doesn't secrete so much bile or have as low of a stomach acid. This is my story and experience with eating carnivore. I apologize in advance because it will be really long. Let's first go back to March 2015. Prior to this I ate my share or processed foods and I had a heavy smoking habit. I wasn't healthy, I didn't feel great, but I wasn't ill and suffering. But in March 2015 that slowly started to change. I went in late one night with pain in my side and it turned out I had appendicitis. They didn't do my surgery until the morning and sometime in the night it had ruptured, I got gangrene and they had to take out a fourth of my colon. I was in the hospital for a week (and later three days for complications), and during almost that entire week I wasn't allowed nothing by mouth, not even water. I'm very thirsty, and not being able to drink was so awful for me that I completely forgot about smoking, which allowed me to get past the four day mark where I always failed when trying to quit. So I quit smoking, quit coffee (because it would make me want to smoke), and I cleaned up my diet. Cut out processed foods and started eating LOTs of fruits and vegetables. I was trying to lose weight, get healthy and strong, and basically just become a way better version of myself. I also started getting more active with lots of walking and exercising three to four days a week. But for some reason I just kept getting more and more tired. I started bloating. I just didn't feel good, and the more time that went by the worse I felt. Six months down the road I was in severe shape. I could barely walk a block, had to sit down and take breaks after showering or in the middle of grocery shopping. I went back to the doctor and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My TSH was 48, which is extremely high, and my triglycerides were over 1000, which is terribly high. But I had a diagnosis and a prescription, and I was so relieved, thinking that I had the solution to all of my issues. And yes, some issues were resolved as I got my thyroid levels in range, but some things just kept getting worse, like bloating, and while I wasn't AS exhausted I still was very low energy. I chugged along the next five years but I just felt worse and worse. I kept eating healthy, and I tried to keep as active as a could, but I was just exhausted, and terribly bloated. The bloating just got worse and worse. I was never not bloated. I would wake up about 6-months-pregnant-bloated and by late evening I was 11-months-pregnant bloated. By late evening it would hurt into my back and shoulders and I couldn't stand sitting up and would have to get in bed. And no matter what time of the day, if I bent over to pick something up I couldn't breath at all, because the bloating just squished everything too badly. At about the 5 year mark was when COVID hit. I'm overweight, inflamed, high cholesterol (yes, even though I was eating low fat and lots of vegetables), and basically I was a poster child for having a severe case if COVID if I caught it. About this same time my A1C came back 5.6. Technically "normal", but it's just 0.1 away from being prediabetic, which also greatly increases your chance of dying from COVID. I only see PAs, no doctor, and none of them had been of any help, even though I told them I was suffering so badly that even the idea of living to 60 in this state was unthinkable. So when I got my results for my A1C I took to Google to see what to do about it. I ran across Dr. Sten Ekberg who explained insulin resistance the benefit of a low carb diet. Insulin resistance seemed to be accurate for me so I decided to try low carb. Let me just back up a minute and also mention that in 2002 I was diagnosed with bipolar II, and for the last several years had suffered from near-constant depression and anxiety. I also had a plethora of other symptoms like skin issues, pain, severe acid reflux, and 10 straight years of nothing but liquid stools, no exaggeration. There were other lessor symptoms, but it's hard to remember it all now. Now let me say that I did have some benefits going low carb. I lost weight for the first time in 20 years, which I had started to think was impossible for me. And my bloating reduced to a level I could at least stand. I had an increase in energy. I was still tired, but I was no longer too tired to shower and I didn't have to take breaks while grocery shopping. I also had some improvements in my acid reflux, I had less anxiety and depression, and I just suffered less in general. I ate this way for a year, but that was the extent of my improvements. I was still bloated, I was still tired, I still had all of my issues, even though some of them were improved a decent bit. But I really wanted to stop suffering completely. I was 49 and I didn't want to suffer for the rest of my life. During my year of keto I of course followed a lot of other people, both experts like Dr. Berry and Dr. Ekberg and just others who were sharing their journey. And I kept hearing from people about carnivore, especially in the comment section. Now I thought this was crazy. We NEED fiber and vegetables, right? So I just ignored it at first. But eventually I decided it was worth a shot, especially after hearing so many people talking about the great improvements they'd had in their health. If it didn't work I could always go back to eating vegetables. And I had heard people also say that it had put their bipolar and other mental health disorders in remission, but I didn't have any hope for that with me. I mainly wanted to get rid of my bloating, exhaustion, and if I was lucky maybe my liquid stools. So in August 2021 I went carnivore. Within a month my bloating was all but gone, my energy levels were equal to when I was in my 30s, my pain was gone, my acid reflux was gone, and I started having multiple days in a row where I wasn't anxious and/or depressed. Within two months my skin issues were cleared up, acid reflux was gone, and I continued to see improvements in my energy, strength, and a continued reduction in my anxiety and depression. After three months I had my first solid poo!!! I had really started to lose hope that carnivore would rid me of my liquid stools, so when I had my first solid one I was SO excited! I've been carnivore for two years this August and it literally gave me my life back. Not only do I no longer have anxiety or depression without reason (obviously life events can still make me a big anxious or sad), I've recently started noticing that my life-long phobia of bees and wasps is just about reversed. It was a true phobia and I couldn't spend much time outside. That's not something I expected for sure. I also used to be a really bad procrastinator and now I'm not. I don't fully understand it, but eating carnivore didn't just heal by digestive system and my body, it's healing my mind. It might not be for everyone, but for some of us it's nothing short of a miracle.

I’ve been ketovore for 8 months and full carnivore for 4 months. Not only have I lost 30kg, but my depression and anxiety completely went away within 2 weeks, I’m off meds, my BP went from 130/90 to 105/65, resting heart rate was 85-90, now 55-60bpm. I have dropped a massive amount of visceral fat, my perimenapausal symptoms went away (no more hot flashes!) no more PMT, regular periods, no bloating, no cravings, no counting calories or macros. The list goes on and on. I was a skeptic to start with, but did my research and committed to a solid 10 weeks, but felt so amazing I’ve stuck to it and never looking back. I’m 40 and now feel like I’m 25 again. Carnivore/ ketovore is the real deal. Do your research before knocking it. Thank you Dr Chaffee for all you are doing for our health ❤

You know what’s so hilarious is that literally ALL of the things you mentioned also happened to me, except it happened when I STOPPED eating almost all meat except the rare chicken and streak and started eating mostly veggies 😂: I think the results have less to do with the diet itself and more to do with taking care of what you put in your body (so no fast food, no processed crap, excess sugar etc) When you eat mindfully-whether all meat, or all veggies, your body and mind change for the better. I say, do whatever works for you!

@@whitneyangelie3682 As long as you don't state that eating only meat cannot have fixed my health, while it was truly terrible after 10 years of vegetarianism bordering on veganism towards the end, I can agree that what works for one person may not work for the next. Before I finally switched to eating mostly meat and then eventually only meat, I was convinced that meat was unnecessary and I am not thankful at all for the information that brought me to that conclusion. 😃

No I would never do that, I truly believe every body is different and what works for one might not work for the other, YOU know your own body, period! But I do think that, whatever diet someone chooses that’s right for them, when you start becoming mindful of what you do and don’t put into your body and have an overall nutrition plan, whether that’s all meat or no meat, is always better than just mindlessly eating and having zero diet plan.

For about 10 years I've had an issue with my fingernails lifting and crumbling. Fungal nail infections were ruled out early on and my dermatologist decided it was either distal onychosis or nail psoriasis. I was told only my only options were to live with it or trial medication for psoriasis. I didn't want to risk the nasty side effects of the psoriasis medication, so decided to just live with it. Three months ago, I heard about the carnivore diet and how it's the ultimate elimination diet. Something clicked in my brain that perhaps my nail condition was related to my diet - standard "healthy" food pyramid diet. The logic behind the carnivore diet made complete sense, so I decided to give it a go. Now three months in and my nail condition is almost completely gone! It's like a miracle after putting up with this for 10 years!!! I no longer have the worry of people thinking I have a fungal nail condition. I believe my nail condition was the result of an autoimmune response to something plant based in my diet (I did eat a lot of plants). Joint pain I started getting over the past year or so has also completely gone. Other benefits being full carnivore include better mood, stable energy levels and mental clarity. Thank you Dr Chaffee, if only could have a full 60 minutes on this show!

Yes! that pesky archeological and sociological evidence proving humans only started eating absurdly large quantities of red meat in the mid 20th century thanks to the birth of the factory farming industry aided by the pharma industry pumping animals full of synthetic hormones and antibiotic resulting in the average age of female puberty in western countries dropping from 13.8 to 11.3 in less than 50 years is nothing compared to not farting anymore! And ya know we should all put out of our mind that in medieval Europe the average diet was about 90% fucking vegan because no one but royalty could afford meat and dairy since all the meat in the country was always at that one oppulent banquet for the king and yet white people did not go extinct, it's just a blip in history! Let's also forget that most of India is vegetarian and has been for millenniums, and it's not like they have a billion people surviving on a meat-free diet! NO! Homo sapiens were meant to be carnivorous, that's why over milions of years we didn't evolve to have those big cumbersome teeth called "incisors" between our sets of canines and instead we have just those tiny little teeth like a cat or a dog... Oh, wait... Give me a break y'all are feeling great because your livers are getting rest from not processing crap carbs since it's the kidney's that filter out protein. That's basic shit you learn in the 9th grade. But guess what? Proteins are hard on the kidneys and those can shut down like that so I guess another couple of years and you guys can all have fun talking about it three times a week during dialysis! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I started carnivore on Oct 24, 2022. This is going to be my second birthday! After five days, I woke up for the first time in 15 years without pain in every single joint. After 10 days, I felt lighter and realized that I had been swollen all over my body for as long as I can remember & I wasn’t inflamed any longer. After 2 weeks, I had my first day without brain fog for the first time in 15 or 16 years. After 6 weeks, my triglycerides were normal for the first time ever! Since then I have reduced my protonix for GERD by half TWICE (was 40 mg BID, now 20 mg SID) and I feel like I can and will eliminate it completely, I’ve lost about 25 lbs so far, my cycles are no longer painful (had been considering surgery for endometriosis), and I have cured diverticulitis & IBS, and put Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue into remission. ANA titer is now negative. I had previously tried low fat, whole 30, candida diet, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, juicing, plant-based, medical-supervised calorie restriction… it wasn’t until I cut out sugar, artificial sweeteners, starches, AND FRUITS & VEGETABLES that I finally found relief. I wish it didn’t take so long to find it.

Did not debunk anything. Why pick on the carnivore guy. What about the vegans. Is there no movement trying to push everybody to eat only plants? Grains are what is killing you. By the way, the available whole grains are not whole at all. The healthiest part of wheat is the wheat germ, which is removed, because it shorten the shelf life af wheat products. All grains are processed foods, as are all seed oils. The vegan favourite tofu, is a highly processed item. Meat is natural, unprocessed and contains every single micro nutrient and vitamin you need. In a month, I'm feeling great on carnivore. I have tons of energy. Haven't felt this good in about 20 yrs. Dr Chaffee is right. I'm hitting the gym several days a week now. One lost 22 lbs in a month. I've been working to my max on weights. Not getting tired, no muscle pain. No arthritis pain. Just had lab work done and everything was great. Lowest triglycerides I've ever had. Blood pressure good. A1C 5.5 in the normal range. I don't have food cravings. I've had a few carbs and when I do, I immediately notice bad symptoms on my digestive system. Heart burn, gas, reflux. I even got sinus issues one night after eating some carbs. So think what you want and call it a fad, I'm going to continue this the rest of my life and get off all meds. I even put my dog on carnivore. A 7 yr old black lab. She was extremely overweight. Started having joint/hip issues. Very sluggish and needed help to get on her back legs. Been feeding her bacon and eggs. Ribeyes. She eats what I eat. We walk every day now. Some days, several times a day. She has lost half her weight and is very active now. No more joint pain. She's like a new pup now. She used to shed really bad. Hardly at all now. It has worked for both of us. I'm a firm believer now.

@@jasonrios3120 I was vegetarian for almost 9 years. I know plants well. Keep on eating those grains, fiber, and fruits until you’re 55. You’ll stop when you’re diabetic or diagnosed with cancer. The claim that there is little evidence of eating Carnivore is just completely false. At the very earliest, humans began farming about 10-12k years ago. For millions of years humans were hunter-gatherers and ate the fatty meats of animals before they ate anything else. Any paleontologist will tell you that the larger size and growth of our brains came from us eating animals. I haven’t seen any paleontologists who disagree with the scientific research regarding that fact. Even simple google research into the aboriginal population of Australia shows 40,000+ years of the carnivore diet. But, I’m not here to change your mind about your diet. You’ll figure it out eventually on your own, just like I did. I wish you well.

4 years I have been carnivore, after trying to find answers to heal from 20+ years of IBSD. I tried vegetarianism, veganism, Low fat, FODMAP, nothing worked. I stumbled across Mikhaila Peterson, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Paul Mason and Low Carb Down Under on KZbin. I started Carnivore the next day. I used to be able to clear a room with flatulence (very potent), now I get no flatulence. I would be buckled over with severe pain, nausea and cold sweats and diarrhea on the toilet, that is all gone, too. Acid reflux, gone. Aching hips at night, gone. Dermatitis from dish liquid, gone. Seasonal allergies, gone. Stronger hair and nails, and clear skin. Addiction to sugar and carbs, binging, gone!! Mental clarity, brain fog lifted and the amazing mental strength to leave a 25 year toxic relationship. I will never go back to eating fruit and veg, or anything processed ever again. Food freedom. You might say it is restrictive, but I would rather eat anything from the animal kingdom, than to experience any of those symptoms again. Dr Anthony Chaffee keep spreading the good word. Meat does heal.

I started to help with inflammation after a medical procedures on my back. So far, 6 weeks in, it is helping with that plus all the other benefits and I dropped 6 pounds and look better. I studied the no carb diet under no less than 10 medical docs, including a heart surgeon, a kidney doc, several board certified docs, Phd, etc. who all work with patients. The docs themselves did the diet. Not one had poor outcomes and in fact all showed health improvements. I may add some plant foods later, but will remain low carb.

Wait until you get older and test if your arteries are building up plaque. Long term studies have not been done yet for the carnivore diet because it has only become popular in recent years. It's still an open question with regard to cardio vascular disease. I think we will find out in coming years. Currently all we have is theory, and seems like convincing theory but that doesn't always pan out once studies are conducted. The human body is incredibly complex so we can't always account for everything that's going on. We need LONG term studies on this diet.

The thing that is actually "radical" is how far the food industry has taken us away from simple, natural, nutritious food. And when people wake up and try to claw their way back to health, that is seen as a "radical" move, they are seen as the weird ones for opting out of the death-machine that is currently our food industry. If people took more than just a cursory glance at some of these health practices and used their discernment and intelligence, instead of broad-stroking it all as "wacky" (It is a given that some practices are stupid i.e Vagina Candles) then you can find great benefit and map your way out of the death-spiral that a lot of people are in when it comes to health and food choices.

I agree. I was spending a lot of money for phosphaceidal serine (and other supplements) and found out I could get all I needed from meat. What a relief. I do well on carnivore and fruit and dropped most supplements. Still magnesium and some vitamin d for winter.

I was whole food plant based (vegan) meaning i ate no animal products for 8 years. I thought it was healthy, I thought meat was bad, I thought I was eating optimal for longevity ... Until about 6 years in and then I felt my health declining. I started to focus more on plant based proteins, trying to really get the right ratio of vitamins (while i always took b12) I started making sure I bumped up with an iron supplement etc. It improved my numbers on my blood work but didnt do much on how I felt. I Blamed it on age UNTIL I started adding a little meat out of an intense craving ... The more i ate meat, the better I felt and looked ... Then went to ketovore and now doing carnivore ... I cannot BELIEVE how amazing i feel and LOOK! It was not my age, it was my diet and I'm so glad I found Dr. Anthony Chaffee... I am 45 and i am feeling awesome and peopme have been conplimenting my skin a lot lately!

Im from Denmark and have been carnivore 4 months now. It have cured my hyperthyroidism and my nodules in my throat is completely gone. I have more steady energy now, sleep awesome and brain fog gone. My skin is flawless and I seldom need to brush my teeth because there’s no oder. I look 10 years younger (I’m 40 years old), and have no pain in my back or legs anymore. My LDL is high and my doctor wants me on statins, but I say “no thanks, I will live longer with high LDL. All my other bloodwork is on point. I’m never going back to SAD - carnivore for life 🥩💪🏼

Unfortunately most doctors and dietitians don't bother to look at the toxins in plants. Also if you look at the health of carnivor doctors it is clear they are healthier than the overweight doctors pushing statins and insulin.

Same. Also his claim that if you don’t eat plants you can work out as much as you want and you never get debilitating soreness is correct. This year I have qualified to not one, but three different world championships, and no matter how hard I train, I never get sore. I recover better, faster, and am more conditioned than competitors 20 years younger than me.

Went carnivore 6 months ago. Lost 40 lbs. Labs are outstanding. I’m 56 and in better shape than I was in the Army at 23. No more skin issues, better sleep, and my John Thomas had never been harder. No supplements, no gym memberships. Carnivore, intermittent fasting, and pushing up my own body weight.

We don’t get to hear from “ex carnivore dieters” much so here goes: I tried the carnivore diet for 11 months. Was very strict, salt and pepper on steak for lunch and dinner. Bone broth for breakfast. I used cow lard for butter . I did it to lose weight and help with my immune system, where I have a rare form of arthritis , palindromic, since I was 20. I was mid thirties. Although I started out losing weight, I slowly started to gain and it wasn’t stopping. I dealt with it, maybe that how I was supposed to look. But what I couldn’t deal with was the constipation and/or diarrhea , and huge painful gastro “popping” in my belly all night long. It just wasn’t working for me, but I tried. So it’s not a one size fits all, but I don’t doubt that it could be helpful for some people. I quit and had a wonderfully balanced and reasonable relationship with food ever since. I get full faster, I don’t yo-yo. So it helped in that way! But I’m better off of it. Just wanted to add my experience so people don’t consider it a miracle cure- helps some but not all.

Carnivore is a lifestyle and eating this way improves a lot of health issues along the way. For me personally, as someone who lost a lot of weight in the past due to covid19 and eating crappy standard american diet, my weight is finally improving. I am getting stronger, I am higher on energy, my chronic pains are gone and workouts (sometimes two per day) are the best I have ever had. I am never ever going back to previous way of eating. So if you are not overweight and trying to put on good amount of muscle and feel like Terminator, give it a try. Take my word for it

Eating a traditional Sámi diet saved my life... I am Sámi and Kveni, and somehow believed for a while that a western modern diet would work due to recommendations, but it made me extremely ill. Grains, legumes and vegetables was so hard for me to digest. Now i am back to my roots eating only meat, fish, butter and some berries in season... The modern diets are the real scam. Especially for us Arctic peoples, but probably everyone..

Since eating a ketogenic diet, I am now no longer on medications. I have normal BP, high HDL, low triglycerides and the arthritis pain in my hip and hands is near nil. The bonus of eating a ketogenic diet is the 30kg weight loss which has stayed stable for 2 years.

What keto then carnivore diet did for me and others in as little as 1 year, is something no standard diet promoting doctor could for years. Shame on them, with all the degrees, yet narrow-minded, not up to date with research, and dismissive (jealous!) of the amazing reaults ppl are achieving with no meds, in fact ppl get off their crap meds.

So far in my carnivore diet journey, I have spent a grand total of ZERO dollars for any products while attaining the best health of my life. No purchases of supplements, no IVs, no FEEDING TUBES (wtf), no vagina candles, no $700 per night nature retreat to have a woman tap a gong by my head, no books bought, no consultations required, no extra guidance needed. All I do is eat fatty red meat and feel the way humans are meant to feel. The health police guy that recommended a mostly plant based diet with minimal red meat needs to wake up and realize that our dietary guidelines that push that idiocy are what have led to the explosion in obesity and diabetes. People succeed with the carnivore diet after failing trying to do what he and nutrition science tells us we should be doing.

Same here. I was chronically irritated, fatigued, and had a headache that never went away. I also had obsessive thoughts about doing that one thing. Even though I didn't WANT to think about it and knew I would never do it, I couldn't shake the thoughts. Carnivore fixed all of this. I now suspect these symptoms were mostly due to systemic inflammation (esp. in my brain). Can confidently say all my issues are in the past so long as I stay carnivore.
