I am SOOOO happy with how this transformation came together. Can you believe this is my first time putting up shelves?! I am still such a beginner when it comes to actual CONSTRUCTION of home things, so I'm very proud of myself for making this happen. This makeover is totally renter-friendly since I can easily take off the wallpaper and patch the holes later! GOODBYE boring black wall, HELLO BEAUTIFUL TERRAZZO backdrop! This little open pantry nook really sets the tone for the rest of my apartment and I cannot wait to work on the rest of this new space. Let me know your thoughts in the comments down below!

This looks so good! 😍 just a tip for the wallpapering next time, if you unscrew the case of the outlet with a screwdriver before wallpapering you’ll get a cleaner result as all you’ll have to do is screw the case back on :)

One tip for anyone doing wallpaper! You can take off the outlet cover and then replace it afterwards so that it has a clean edge.

Hey Tina, I think for the wall socket you can probably switch out the black plate for a white plate! Usually it’s held by two screws in the wall so it should be easy to switch. Love your video, your shelf looks really good!

You've done a great job, and think using the lighter background colour is better like you did so anything you put in front doesn't detract. Have you thought about making it the coffee/tea bar as you have a plug socket there? Mug/cups could hang off hooks screwed into the wood, or did you say it's also used as a work station...if so pen jars and laptop with cute stool in front. Don't mind which room you'll tackle next as long as you've already got ideas lined up, I'm not one to put others under pressure, I'll be happy watching whatever you do. Good luck xxx
