Hey Gabbi, for leather brushes you can use those brushes made for leather shoes. Very cost effective. They may shed a couple of bristles when brand new, but that is only for the first or second use. You can minimize that by scrubbing the bristles with your hand before you use it. LAwesome is good for cleaning the tires. I like CarPro Inside for my interior cleaning. It's also safe for use on digital screens. Watching you vacuum the seats, you may want to look at getting a hose extension so you're not lugging the body of the vacuum onto or into the car. Overall I have to say you are a fast learner and doing an amazing job on your details!!! RAWK On !!

First one of your videos I have watched and looks like you already have a firm grasp on the basics with a good work ethic and eye for detail. Serious dog hair like the Tesla are always challenging and time consuming, you did very well. Don't feel bad dear I have been detailing for 30 years and I still forget the inside of the hatch on occasion.

Priming your applicator pad with 303 instead of spraying the product directly onto the panel might do the trick. (Don’t over saturate). And then wiping the excess off with a dry microfiber towel if needed. Great video as usual.

Oh and when trying to remove dog hair get some fabric softener and dilute it in a spray bottle mist the carpet first then use the lily brush on it

Wow. You got all of that dog hair out.
@allisonbarnabe2794 жыл бұрын
For leather seats, a horse hair brush works great since it is soft. Most typical "leather brushes" shed like a damn nightmare. Some people even go to the extreme and use a toothbrush since they have soft bristles but time consuming. Plus drill brush - you can typically get one with a soft bristle and obviously be gentle and such with them.

You did a fine job on this car..Just remember to develop a systematic approach to detailing each and every vehicle and do it the same way every time..Also with the chemicals you use find the one's you like and work for you and stick with them. I like the approach you took with the carpet by not putting a lot of water down I like to use the least amount of water on carpets as possible but still get them clean.

Hi Gabbi, noticed your yellow vac crevasse tool is chipped. Mine was like yours and I caught it in cheap Toyota carpet. It pulled the carpet in a small area and made a run which I couldn't fix. I sanded the chip on the end of the tool down so its smooth. Great work on that pup mobile!

I was just detailing a car yesterday trying out the 303 protectant for the first time as well and I felt EXACTLY they way you did. I was previously using VRP and thought the same thing. I tried it out cause I’ve heard a lot of good things about it but after the streaking like you said I quickly switched back to VRP for the rest of the dressing application process

If you want to speed up your leather cleaning. Get a 3inch dual action polisher and a mid cut foam pad with leather clean.. It will make short work with cleaning leather. Hope this helps you.

If you have a Harbor Freight near you I highly recommend getting their steam cleaner! Total game changer for me. I use a rigid vacuum that has a car detailing kit that comes separate also totally worth it. I started with LAs totally awesome as well and moved to Super Clean. Purple bottle at Walmart in auto section with the other multipurpose cleaners. Your videos are great to watch keep going!
@gulaginmate694204 жыл бұрын
If you're having streaks from using the 303 product, you have too much product on the application pad. You don't need much and it goes a long way. Make sure to massage it in good.

I agree with Jason. If it streaks to much product is on the pad. I only use 303 I love how it looks when its dry.

@wrbergner4 жыл бұрын
Great job on the dog hair. You have to admit that the Lilly Brush was worth it! You were smart not removing the seats. With a car involving that amount of wiring, I would be gun-shy as well. I never remove the seats and still get at least 97% of the floor if not slightly more. Glad you adjusted the power wash to extract on floor mats. I would suggest just putting HOT water in the extractor tank rather than any soap. Avoids introducing too much soap into the fabric. Why didn't you use a brush on the center leather arm rests. Probably would have vacated the stains better. Never used 303, VRP has always worked for me. Keep plugging those details out and you will be finding out what your level of comfortability is after all is said and done. It's not a job, just a nice time away from reality.

Great job as always. I bought a shoe brush from CVS for $6. Works perfectly for cleaning leather seats and doesnt shed at all. I also spray a little water from a bottle before i use my leather cleaner. Suds up like crazy and in my opinion suds means its cleaning really well. Let me know if you like the brush if you decide to try it. Keep up the great work 🤙
