I would upgrade the ratchet strap to a heavy duty ratchet strap. I had that problem with the hose coming off any time I yanked on it when I used the strap that came with it. Since I've upgraded the strap, I haven't had it happen again.

Sounds like a good idea, this is pretty much the first time it has happened so far on ours. If it happens again, we may just do that!

I cringe when I show up to a property like this. Just no good way to go about getting the leaves out of there! And it ALWAYS takes longer than it should lol. 🤦‍♂

It was definitely not on our favorites list, just a late season cleanup of really soggy, dog poo leaf stew in tight quarters.

I would highly suggest getting one for sure! I have done dozens of stumps now in the year or so I have had it, several of them were over 7 feet wide. You just have to take your time with it as it is belt driven, so little bites on the stumps is a must!
