ANGRY neighbor CONFRONTS me and CALLS the COPS while cleaning a yard

Wow, what a weekend! This was the first time I had the cops called on me. I'm thankful it all worked out - as 99% of the neighborhood was happy I was there. There was an old abandoned house that was an eye sore for everyone and which the city asked if I could help out with. I was HAPPY to help and THRILLED with the results.
It was a good reminder that everyone has a different story. It's our job to meet people where they're at and do our best to show love no matter what.

The house next door to us is only lived in 3 months out of the year. The owner lives at her brother's the rest of the time. The house is left to rot when she's not there and the rest of the street is left to take care of her front garden because it looks abandoned most of the time. We feed and water whichever neighbour it is who takes their turn doing her yard. Abandoned houses get broken into. We're doing ourselves and her a favour...not that she sees it as such.... Old mate should've realised it was in his interests to have that house cleaned up, instead of b*tching about it to the police.
