I always felt them as the spiritual successor to Van Halen. The band were crazy tight - Nuno was a godly guitarist and Cherone was a very good frontman. I think they should have lasted longer. The whole rock edifice was sunk by grunge. We had no idea where to go from there and it would take until Dream Theater to see another talented guitarist spread his wings. The Grunge music was great but it was tough time technical guitarists. Luv and Peace.

Nuno seems rather annoyed by the presence of the mad woman on stage... and this makes me a great pleasure! Proprio squallido vedere questa mezza fatta che si struscia addosso a Gary! Mi era stato detto che a loro non piace essere toccati con gesti maliziosi tipo tastate sul sedere. Ma qui mi pare che qualcuno si lasci strofinare e palpare un po' troppo! Nuno, invece, mi sembra non gradisca affato la presenza invadente della tizia sul palco e ciò mi piace molto! XD

I saw The Fixx in a basement bar about 1/2 this size about 17 years ago... their guitar player Jamie West-Oram is a world class guitar player... it was very weird seeing them in such a tiny place... the sound was CD quality though, I've never heard anybody else that sounded that good live.
