I've been a bassist for 33 of my 47 years of life. She did something that turns my guts to water every time I get in front of any size crowd. To do that at her age took a truck load of guts and more nerve than an infected molar. They are right about something, though. She is the future of music.

It's amazing enough for a thirteen-yr-old guitarist to nail this. It's more amazing for her to do it live in front of an audience. But to do a famous and difficult lead guitar part sitting in for f**king Nuno Bettencourt with the band that wrote and recorded the song, live in front of an audience... Elizabeth does her own solo that's not quite the classical treatment Bettencourt did, but she's just as funky and kills coming out of it as the energy powers forward. Absolutely outstanding!

When Nuno brought his solo show to Australia about 12-13 years ago he did a similar thing. At Her Magesty's in Brisbane he invited anyone in the crowd to come up on stage and jam with the band during this song. It was a great gesture by a much admired musician. It was one of the best shows that I have ever witnessed.

Nice! Sure there are some "bad notes", but hey(!), she's 13, hasn't had enough time to practice the song and - I'm pretty sure - she didn't expect to perform with the band at all. So why should she be 100% prepared to do so? Does anyone know how good or bad Nuno played guitar at that age? I heard coverbands trying to play songs like this one and the guitar-player considered his "strumming the strings" to be the best cover ever 'though the audience's heads were exploding... :P Instant rush to the restrooms and stuff like that... And yes, he raised his arm showing his "pick of destiny"... If she goes on practicing and learning, she'll be a great player! So, young lady, keep up the fine work. Stick to it! Thumbs up! Oh, and as I'm no native speaker - I'm German - if you guys find any mistakes in spelling or grammar... keep them, they are yours... :) TheMrFett exactly explained everything i thought when i heard her play... So i don't need to repeat it. I agree!

I was at this show and the meet and greet. I was standing in line to get into the meet and greet in front of her and her father and she brought her guitar neck with her to get signed.
