On the behalf of a equestrian I don’t recommend getting a horse. There’s a lot that goes into owning a horse that even I don’t even know yet (and I’ve been working with horses for 18 years). You need to be able to learn horse terminology such as lameness, colic etc. You need to be able to memorise a horses TPR (since horses are always getting hurt in the field) when to recognise the horse needs shoeing/ the farrier. There’s also a lot of stuff you need to know when buying a horse such as age, the horses experience and what you’re intended to do with it (usually the younger the horse the less experience it’s had so will need regular training by a professional since you won’t know even the basics on how to train). You need to ask yourself are you willing to learn everything about horses from the correct terminology to what type of tack is best fitted/suited to your horse to what type of livery you’ll be doing. It’s not just “sitting on a horse” it’s not just “horse riding lessons” there’s so much you need to learn on the ground before even considering getting a horse of your own.

And all they do is let them out on to a mountain to eat and they milk them nearly everyday (I'm not sure if this is because it's completly necesary for the goats health or just because of the produce demand).

@@hannahbartlett9730 that's true, I don't know much about horses but I'm from Kentucky so I know some general things that goes into caring for horses because we have a lot here but there is so many more things that go into taking care of a horse but I can't name them all and I don't know them all I just know it's very hard. I don't think they would be able to take care of a horse, if they want to ride horses there is a lot of ranches in California they can go to. I just don't think they need to own one.

HORSE RANT I've worked with horses, own one, and plan to make it my job full time next year when school is done. Horses are NOT easy to take care of ; what you described is only the surface level. When he said "you can ride" as if that's the only exercise a horse should get... Horses can get used to routine quickly and a bored horse is a sad one. You should have good rider experience before even THINKING of owning a horse. Some breeds will need some different kind of specific trainings : i've worked with arabian fullbreeds and we don't make them work like a Selle Français. People like Ryland, thinking taking care of a horse properly is easy, is why so many horses get depressed and live short lives. Also yeah that's nice, you want a horse, will you put it in your garden ? If so, good luck identifying all the toxic plants, and getting rid of them, also adapt the field for the horses needs (water, salt rocks, etc...) you'll put it in a barn ? He'll get depressed, alone and in his box all day. This is really, really sad misinformation.

DON'T get a horse, please. Lessons are not enough. Riding well and safe enough can take years. And riding alone is not enough for knowing how to take care of a horse. If you don't want a goat cuz they are loud and high maintenance you won't take care of your horse. "well you can ride a horse" No. Yes but no. Not that much. Not every day for years. And you are not going to want to. Mucking, taking care of tack, blankets, safety, vet bills, training, groundwork... omg please just don't get a horse. "i'm going to get horse lessons" -goes for trail ride where you just sit on a horse's back and let it play follow the leader- if you want TRUE "horse lessons", volunteer at your local horse rescue. Then you'll truly learn what all it takes to own a horse. I really pray you do your due diligence in research before choosing to get a horse. And from the land I've seen in your videos, it really doesn't seem like you even have enough land for a full size, ride-able horse; goats/mini horse, maybe, but each horse requires a MINIMUM of two acres each for grazing and exercise, and that's not giving a horse it's best life, that's just the minimum requirement for their health. i hope you actually get to see this comment and maybe reconsider/really get down and dirty at a rescue and learn how to CARE for a horse, not just how to sit on top of one.

I agree a horse is not a good idea, but I don't think Ryland has changed that much to be honest he was always a diva. And ya he wasn't awesome to his sister, but siblings argue and squabble it seemed like pretty normal behavior at least compared to me and my siblings. I do think their mom was a little oblivious and possibly ignoring the situation because that's just how they are. As viewers, we have seen them do this many many times before.

@@carsonwiley3100 For some people. Cymbalta is a life-changer for others, like me. If I don't have it, I can't walk and I am in so much pain it puts me in the ER every week. Not all meds are going to work for every person, but if you work with a doctor, they can usually find the right one for your personal health.

@@gothempress I wish I had that experience with cymbalta. It made my anxiety worse and still didn't even touch the nerve pain. I'm like you, I am bed/sofa bound without my meds but still looking for a better one that isn't an opioid. 🥺 I was so hopeful with cymbalta. And gabapentin and my brain do not get along...my hands and arms started moving on their own...lol. Severe/chronic/nerve pain is a bee-otch!!!

I’ve tried cymbalta , Paxil and prozac and none worked for me. I’m too afraid to try anything else. I’m glad Morgan realized she wasn’t vibing with the meds. It’s so horrible taking meds that don’t work with your brain.

@@dianaw4072 I feel for ya...I know how hard it was to find the right balance of meds for me and in the end I caved and went on Tramadol too, which isn't as heavy hitting as vicodin but still helps when the pain is an emergency. For me, I tried gabapentin and I forgot things I've been doing for more than half my life, but they put me on Lyrica (gabapentin's cousin) and it helped IMMENSELY. But again, I know what works for me may not work for you at all. I sincerely hope you find something that helps you feel relief. You deserve a life that you do more than just survive in.
