Hole Hearted is one of the greatest acoustic songs ever in my humble worthless opinion!
I just love this song, it grooves like a freight train!
For the first time in my entire life I finally got to play it properly on my new Ibanez Art Wood 12-string so that it finally sounds like its supposed to sound! JANGLY!!!

No need to apologise! Tune that 12 down a whole step to D standard, it's like cheese wire when it's tuned to E standard!

@@myturningpoint I caught that you had stepped the tuning down. I'm a fan of D standard. Down tuning all started back learning to cover Hendrix and Led Zeppelin (boy do they have some interesting tuning...LOL) The one hardest was Bron-Yr-Aur I'm continuing to watch!

playing whilst singing this is hella difficult man and it always is so interesting how many different ways people play the chorus

I've been playing and singing since about 16 yrs old when we couldn't find a singer for our band (I'm 48 now) so its not that hard for me (the hardest part is the pre-chorus "rivers flow into the sea" bit, as the rhythm of the guitar is syncopated to the vocal so that took a bit of practice). Never really thought about the chorus tbh, I never try to play note for note, that doesn't interest me that much. If I do play it differently to the original its probably to just help me sing it.
