Man, Snoop is such a smart guy. Unfortunate he is in his position but hes spot on with everything he has to say. Especially the part when people say they dont want their taxes to help the homeless - like he said, all it takes is one thing in your life and you can be in the same position. Be humble. Beautiful video Tommy.

@@qbcomicaddict2590Well again it’s two different kinds of homeless ppl-those that fell onto hard financial times and those that are stricken by problems entirely out of their control like trauma, addiction, and mental illness. Snoop clearly falls under the first category so most of the people he surrounds himself with are probably also in his position. Especially when a homeless person owns a car, their situations can oftentimes be invisible to the outside world. The majority of visible homelessness unfortunately falls under the second category.

I used to live in NJ,homelessness was horrible. One guy who had a drinking issue and was often violent always came to my church fo help. He would always tell us he was a chef for the Philadelphia eagles. None of us believed him until the mayor was able to confirm that he really was. His drinking overtook his life and causes him to lose his job and his family. Truly horrible stories

I have no doubt about that. Commercial kitchens, Restaurants and private high stress cooking environments are FLOODED with addiction. Alcoholics are nearly 80%+ of chefs and professional cooks/staff. Then mix in Adderall, meth, Oxy and Percs in the early-mid 2000s. Drinking is still bad, nearly everyone is boozing and something else. Most kitchens the minimum is weed and booze. I've seen addiction take hold of so many people in those environments. 10-15+ beers a day after work or worse while working, using whatever else to get through long days, hot days. I'm so thankful to be out of that industry. It was beyond toxic. Caffeine and alcohol were normal. If you got shit wrecked on a Monday night after a shift no one thought twice, only times someone would care about daily drinking was showing up late, not showing or not being able to make food correctly. It's an open secret in the industry. No Restaurants drug test for a reason. You'll see guys knocking down 4-5 energy drinks a day, beers, shots and usually weed and more. I've seen people lose everything, I've seen many others in rehab or detoxing on someone's couch, lost apartments and would have been homeless if it wasn't for friends. Only time I would see drinking cut down and it was usually an immediate change would be once the person picked up a heavy meth, coke or oxy habit. They couldn't afford to do both so they picked the drugs. Bad enough a guy I worked with had a seizure from a cocaine OD and ended up in the hospital for multiple days. Next day back he was drinking mid shift. No coke but I think a 200 bpm heart rate shook him for a few months. I hit my finally breaking point in 2015, already was cutting down drinking and wanted a change in my life. I ended up having an old injury flare up and couldn't work. It was the best possible thing for me. Basically realized in that time I was drinking less and opted for a month off. Since I've had maybe 8-10 beers in as many years. I don't miss kitchens and easily could see how someone could lose everything. I hope he's found his sobriety and got back to doing something positive for his life 🙏

as someone from the DC suburbs, i grew up seeing both sides of the issue. i grew up in an middle-upper class family in fairfax county (one of the wealthiest places in america, the first suburb you hit when you leave DC), but i went to high school in DC behind one of the worst (at the time) projects in the city (Sursom Corda) and i still live in the area. so i have been fortunate to see the best and worst of both worlds. at my high school, we were required to complete 1000 hours of community service if we wanted our diploma, there was a homeless shelter underneath the church that we attended 2x a month that i met a ton of great people in, who were just in a bad spot. today, it really is like the homeless have been sequestered and shoved into off the beaten path areas, because its way harder to come across an encampment today then it was 15 years ago. but its still crazy how bad the homeless issue is. glad that Tommy made it to DC (and brandon as well, love them both) as i really think they do some good work especially when they team up

The stock market is presently riding a high wave of optimism, hinting at an increased pullback risk. No major crash is expected, but we might see a minor 3% pullback. However, long-term prospects remain positive. Market corrections are normal, often providing good buy opportunities. If you're pondering over investing, it's time to act. My own story: 17 BTC accumulated in under 9 weeks, thanks to Mrs Beverly mcCoy, proves this. Her advice could be the key to enhancing your portfolio.

I have been seeing so many recommendations about Mrs Beverly mcCoy, her strategy must be good for people to talk about her. Does she work for companies as well, I might be able to get her a deal with my board here in canada .

D.C is the heart of America. Sad to see homeless taking over the city just like I’ve seen with my old town and San Francisco as well
