Beautiful horse. I really like the kiddie pool and the santa!! We have a QH mare that is naturally this laid back (we teach horses to handle their emotions, but she came out of the womb bomb proof!) so I bred her to an Oldenburg and now I have a dead quiet warmblood that I am now starting under saddle. Obstacles make such nice horses that we are building a big trail obstacle complex, but I love your very simply made obstacles, which are way more intimidating then even what you see at the extreme cowboy races. nice video!

My goal is calm and confident horses. You can't predict what a horse will run into at a horse show, the fair, or just trail riding. Obstacles make safer horses. Thank you for the very nice comments.

this horse looks so happy and relaxed ears forward and alert etc. great to see unlike some horses I've seem that seem trained by inferior methods look sullen with pinned back ears etc. it always shows in the horse whether its been bullied or encouraged. So cute the way the horse puts their muzzle on the butterfly net as if to say hey this is next or mabee just sniffing out of curiosity? winning horse and rider relationship. good job

I have a 7 year old strawberry roan Quarter Horse who knows how to...well...walk and trot. He's broke but isn't trained. I bought him after my 23 year bombproof tobiano paint mare, who has over 100 awards in western, got a little old for me. Gus is a handful. He isn't as respectful of personal space and just learned how to lunge. You are an inspiration to me. How you didn't even have to pull on the reins much. Absolutely amazing. Gus is spooky but with these obstacles, he will be as bombproof as a mounted division horse. Thank you so much for the amazing video and you and your horse are amazing. Take care and love your horse because he is miraculous. I hope Gus can be half as good as you horse and that Gus and I can make such a great team as you as your horse. Thank you!

Thank you for your nice comments. You might want to watch my new video with Star. Star was a very spooky 10 year old with huge trust issued when I got and trained her. She bounced off the walls if I just walked into the barn with a bag of carrots. Check out the transformation: Extreme Horse Bridleless Obstacles

Wow! this is fantastic! I need to know how to get my mare to this level of confidence...we have an obstacle course certification test coming up June 20 for the parks department and she is weak in some areas. Especially me picking up things and opening and closing gates without letting go. She just doesn't want to get close enough. What kind of baby steps can I do with her to help her gain some confidence?

How often do people try to buy this horse? So well trained. Hahah. Your aids are all the same that my trainer teaches. I'm starting to work with my gelding on dragging things at home and this was helpful. I need more props. :)

This horse is VERY light. All I need is a pant leg to move this horse. It would be a HUGE mistake to use a spur. Watch her head. It never goes up...no spur. She also has a very light face. I can set her head with my little finger.
