I’m with you. I studied interior design and this has been one of my greatest complaints. I believe that your home should reflect your personality and not the trends and what some decorator thinks. I believe that a good decorator should take your ideas and then guide you through the process so that it still reflects who you are. When everyone’s home begins to look the same because of the trends, that’s when I walk away.

Mia and I might have DRASTICALLY different design aesthetics, but this is really a great kitchen update and it fits the rest of the space really well now. I'm really curious what countertops you'll do when you get around to changing them. Also a SMEG appliance set would work wonders on the kitchen which I'm assuming will be the appliances later down the line.

They're cool for anesthetics but perform poorly, especially for the price. They're manufactured by the same company that makes budget appliances in China. Samsung and other companies make good quality and good looking appliances.

@@pirate89RAWR I can’t speak on the quality of SMEG specifically, but just in general it’s entirely possible for a company to be behind several different brands in different qualities. They can even be produced in the same factory too and still be wildly different quality. It depends on things like the quality of the materials, how strict quality control is and how large error margins they allow etc. which all will be different for each of the brands they own. And also something being produced in China doesn’t automatically mean something is bad quality, Samsung produces things in China too.

The propaganda works wonders and it is quite hard for us to dismentle all the fake news that exists. Some news are definitely more reliable , like the guardian, but criticism is still needed. European news are always a lil bit late compared to ukrainians of course. And most of russians soldiers are indoctrinated and brainwashed into thinking they are saving Ukraine rn. For now the russian army is targetting civilians : they destroyed a museum, attacked a childcare center,... And things like that.

I've been watching this channel for awhile and have to say, it is such a breath of fresh air to see how much time you spend with your family. I'm an only child and lived at home until I got married at 29. I never took the time I spent with my family for granted (even though I felt slightly annoyed sometimes haha). At times I felt like I should be out with friends or should be more "independent" and have my own life.
