This was very satisfying to watch. I recommend corralling the oils and canned goods on Lazy Susans (rotating trays), so you can reach the stuff in the back without removing the items in front.

Yes! You can get 2 cake pans and a bag of marbles from dollar tree and put the marbles nestled in between the two pans. $3, neutral color and moves soooo well! (got the tip from Do It OnADime)

Get plate risers so you can "stack" your plates. They make a difference when cabinet space is not a premium. You can put baskets on the risers, etc.

There are plate racks or plate stackers that can maximize the space in your cabinet and make it easier to access your plates or bowls. Love the end product BTW.

I took the ring off of my measuring spoons and hung them individually inside a cabinet door. That way I don't have to constantly fiddle with/ wash all of them, and it saves a lot of space in the drawer

Oh, I absolutely LOVE fall. I live in a state with 4 seasons and the days are warm and the nights turn crispy chilly. I just pulled out my medium duvet and put it on my bed. Now, did anyone else laugh when MaCenna opened the cupboard and the bag fell out? I can soooo relate. I'm actually currently packing to move to ANOTHER 4 season state (and into a house 1/2 the size of my current house), so I'm seriously decluttering. Oh...and a great "hint"...I have a Keurig and, instead of buying pods, I purchased a couple of re-usable k-pods (available on Amazon) -- and I love them. I buy beans and grind them fresh each morning. Makes ALL the difference in the taste. I also compost the coffee grinds into my garden so no waste. Thanks MaCenna for all the joy you spread. Fall makes you happy and you make me happy.

Great job ! A couple of ideas to consider if you like ? 1) Put your oils on a turntable so you don't have to pull out everything to get something at the back. I have a turntable for my oils and vinegar and its great. 2) I think the cupboard where you have your spices stored is really meant more like a pantry for canned goods etc. (There is a lot of wasted space since the spices aren't very tall.) You might think about switching the canned goods with your spices. Another turntable would be really helpful too. Hope these help - you did a great job !!

Haha yup I’m a fall/winter person too!! My mom and I always joke that we have opposite seasonal depression from everyone else because fall and winter make us so so happy and we get way too hot and sad during the summer (also helps that my birthday is in September so every month has a holiday for me 😊)

I just did a big kitchen organization....I would suggest lazy susan for the oil and vinegar cabinet and I did the prep drawer ..life changing! good job...ANYTHING you cannot see in the back will be lost and you will purchase again.

For your plates and bowls, you can get a shelf that goes on top of the first layer and separates the second level. IKEA sells a good one!

I took all my parchment paper, tin foil, ziplock bags etc and put them in a nice square wicker basket on top of my fridge. It looks good and keeps them handy.

Ikea makes shelf dividers, so you can stack plates and bowls more easily. They're in the Variera line. I have several, and love them!

May I make a suggestion? I’ve organized many kitchens and pantries over my career. If you place the ‘wraps’ (parchment paper, cling wrap, tin foil) in the same drawer as the first aid items and then keep your teas with pantry items or closer to your coffee pods. Like a little breakfast nook. Also your plan to live with the new set up is perfectly on point!

Thank you for sharing this with us.... it makes me feel a bit better. LOL! I use the cabinet over my fridge to store my Christmas set of dishes. We replace our regular dishes with them in December, so they go up in the cabinet until after the new year. I have so many serving dishes etc, so I ended up putting a couple of open shelving units in my breakfast room to store them. I like the open shelves except for the dust!😕

You can organize your plates with an office Folder Organizer. It may take up the same amount of space but you have access to all of the plates and it doesn't make as much noise when you take a plate out because the plates can't hit each other. 👌👌👌
