Oh and out hob is top mounted and does gather the food but prefer it to the chipped bench around the sink.

Exciting to see the the new kitchen, well done guys. The tile work looks amazing and you'll both always know the hard work that went into getting them up. The overall effect of the tiles with the white cabinetry, s/s appliances and handles to match, is very eye catching and soothing at the same time, great choice of styling. I can see that both of you will enjoy cooking and being in your new kitchen. And covering in the space above the cabinets was a great idea, as they really do catch dust and other junk. Looking forward to seeing kitchen when all the finishing touches are complete. Top marks though for a DIY job well done.

Ppl call these remodels, but you stripped it down to the studs, thats a rebuild or a re-do. You just put everything new . Thats not a remodel.
