Have used this stand for a couple years now. Mine came with a clean out shield that attaches to it, not the handlebar cup. It has been excellent in every way. I've used extreme max studs for over a decade and they too are good quality. Glad to see the sled videos are cranking up again Pastie Boy. Can't wait to ride!

Cool! I just checked and the cleanout shield is 70 bucks by itself. More sled videos to come. I can't wait to ride as well! Thanks for watching.

You should schedule a ride/ meet up with you guys in tug hill this winter.

I will try. It may not happen until late January or maybe even February with these weather predictions. Thanks for watching.

Looks handy, this looks nice to have if you are working on the track or rear suspension
@Paisteboy4 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I should have bought it last year. I'm sure it will still get some use.

Would it be possible for you and Gary to make a video on his xrs suspension set up? I just bought one and it’s a bit confusing, and with your videos it seems like Gary has had a lot of xrs’s in his day lol would be a good informative video.

I'll see what I can do. Is there anything that you would like to know specifically? Thanks for watching.
@trent.1424 жыл бұрын
@@Paisteboy along the lines of how many clicks he sets them to, depending on riding conditions. More so what each shock/spring does and what adjusting it does to the sled for the ride and bump absorption

Hey Bud, Does it really lift it high enough to work easily on the track? Also if you lift the back when not in use, do you lift the front?
@Paisteboy5 ай бұрын
It lifts the track about 4 inches off the ground. I don't lift the front of the sled off the ground when I'm using this lift. I bought a full sled lift last season for that.
@uni38314 жыл бұрын
how good does this work with a mountain sled with bigger lug height? would it lift it high enough?
@Paisteboy4 жыл бұрын
I think it would work fine. It can jack it pretty high off the ground.

Wish the kit came with more flat washers so the head/nut didn't dig into the paint and cause a place for corrosion to start.
@Paisteboy Жыл бұрын
I haven't seen any corrosion on mine at this point. Thanks for watching.

I almost cut my fingers off with a sled stand... My bad !

Ouch. What's going on Doobyboy? How did that happen?
@doobyboy214 жыл бұрын
@@Paisteboy I've have nearly the same stand as you do... Had it for a while now... And with time the metal brackets that life up the sled start to bend in the same direction... And It got stuck when I was bringing the sled down on the bolt... And stupid of me I tried pulling on it with my fingers and when it did free up my finger were between the lifting bracket and the lifting pole... I got lucky... MY fence caught the lifting pole permitting it not to completely put the sled on the ground... My fence actually saved my fingers... But they did get squeezed really hard that My girlfriend needed to pull the sled back up to free my fingers... Freek accident last year ! Never doing that again !

@@doobyboy21 Wow! Glad you didn't loose a finger. I will definitely keep an eye on the stand for bending and stuff.

Boy you guys spend a lot of dough on snowmobile stuff I try to cheap out just in case I move on from snowmobiling when climate change really gets going and the snow becomes nonexistent and you have to sell off everything it’s coming my club grooms 2 state parks and they own there own land and building that’s where I store my new trailer bought last year and they are offering ATV riding when no snow which last 3 years was minimal I only rode in newhampshire 3 times last year hopefully this year in better
@Paisteboy4 жыл бұрын
That's what we do! lol. I really needed this stand last year or even sooner when I added the Ice scratchers, replaced the sliders and had my shocks rebuilt. Thanks for watching.

@@Paisteboy I agree I’m not that tall so lifting these extra travel sledds up I’m not tall enough or strong 💪 enough so that lift is just what needed keep up the videos like the dude said out on the trails season 2019
