The N4 didn't come out until early 90s (91? 92?), so it wouldn't have been made/available when this video was done. Seeing them play live during these years, their "up and coming" years was such an amazing experience.

After all these years I find out that Nuno was actually playing the same Jackson reverse headstock that I was at that time.... Before he switched to Washburns... I still have the same Jackson (and the same nose :-) )

Can’t believe Nuno had a nose job. Did he pay the surgeon in solid gold bricks? Even if he did the surgeon was still underpaid. The surgeon put their WHOLE BAWLS IN IT!! Nuno’s side profile (after) looked sculpted by god himself. Surgeon had to be the most talented out there, it looks amazingly natural. He went in for a nose job and they gave him perfection. He owes that surgeon his life.

Nuno Bettencourt nay not stay in sync with the rythem but his guitar solos are always worth hearing for instints if you listen to the track of the orginal record Mutha don't wanna go to school today he plays a great solo at the very start of the song he is one great guitar riff master at the same time a great soloist

Watching this oldie,one can notice that the real treasure behind Extreme is and was Nuno.I don´t know why i never couldn´t tolerate Cherone vocals....maybe a few songs but i always thought that Extreme with another vocalist could have been a better band.

I've known since the early 90's that Nuno Played Jackson before he got a Washburn endorsement. I remember being in a record store one day cutting school, and saw a picture of the band, and there Nuno was with that black Jackson! It's a USA custom shop Dinky, the pickup sounds like Seymour Duncan JB. If you notice closely, it sounds a lot like the sound Warren DeMartini gets out of his Charvel/Jackson guitars on early Ratt albums, especially Out Of The Cellar!

This sounds horrible. But trust me. Mid 80's until they were signed, anywhere they played, people were lined up around the building to get in. They were unbelievable in a club setting. And, Nuno, the kid was off the hook. Unique sense of timing, riff master who could shred, and a style all his own in an ocean of guitar players that all sounded the same. Had these guys hit a couple years sooner than they did, they'd of been much, much bigger.
