In this particular song, Gary's vocals are in his head voice, but he's still drawing on his mid to get the huskiness. I think that it's brilliant! also, the note at the end? Damn! To sing that note with his back arched and on his knees is super tough to do vocally. Total applause for that. Check out over the rainbow he really nods to Freddie Mercury on that one, and when I first kissed you from their Pornographitti album shows their jazzy side. Extreme tackles many different genres and mashes up others. I love the funky rock side of them it's great! Check out Get the Funk out for that side of them.

Extreme is a great band. Perhaps they were remembered for the success of their song "More than words" but they have many amazing songs. The album "Extreme III sides to every story" is amazing. "Stop the world", "Peacemaker die" and "Tragic comic" are songs you should listen to. Even Gary Cherone was the vocalist on a Van Halen album (Van Halen III)

This was off their new album released last year. Their first in about 15-18 years. They sort of separated and did different things, the singer did one album with Van Halen. Nuno is a guitar god, check out Rise off this album for a crazy solo. Other good songs from their new album are Banshee, The Mask, and Other Side of the Rainbow. Of course, tons of old tunes like Get The Funk Out, Play With Me, Hole Hearted, Mutha (Don't Want to go to School Today), and the #1 More Than Words, amongst others. Good rabbit hole should you choose to do it.

Everybody remembers Extreme from the song, "More Than Words." But, they were so much more than that. Nuno was on Eddie Van Halen's level as a guitarist. (Gary was actually Van Halen's singer for a while.)

I've been into. This band since they started. I did not like more than words. The ballad that everybody remembirds. I like their harder funky rock and metal sound. Their new album extreme 6 is fire every song great. Especially rise
