Izzy makes freehanding the router for those hinges look easy but that's only because he's the boss.

I've watched a lot of your videos. Just bought the Triton router. Looking at ideas to put it in the table saw. So I can use it with the fence I ordered. This is it. Don't have to look anymore. You are a Craftsman. Watched an earlier video about your drill operated drill press lift. Already ordered the cams and chain. I've been disabled for 10 years. So anything that makes it easier, gets my vote. Thank you very much. Tim.

Hello Mr. Swan. You are not like other makers. You design your own things and not just repeat what everyone else does. I also enjoy Jeremy Fielding for the same reason. I can't imagine what the two of you could come up with. Would you ever consider doing a collaboration with him? Thanks! Rob

Izzy, so many props! I am circling back around to this video a year later just to comment. I've seen a bunch of these KZbin builds and I've always hated the guys who are concerned with the fence being parallel to the table edges. Then you came along and confirmed how dumb that is. You rock!
@joegarrison86116 жыл бұрын
Gotta tell ya, that is exactly what I have been seeking. With a drop in plate you can swap out router for planer and have your own joiner. Heck you could even mount a plate to drop in a 7.5 in skillsaw or even an upside down jigsaw if you so choose. Three thumbs up Izzy. Thanks for the inspiration.

Udaman, Izzy. I just threw together a get-me-by router table based on one of your old videos and I used the single point swivel with a clamp on the other end. It got me out of a bind, but now I see this little bit of awesomeness. You keep raising the bar, and I thank you for doing so.

Wow. I’m sold man. As soon as I saw what you did for the bevel with the straight fluted bit- like for making cabinet door panels, I knew our massive router table my father and I built is going back to the drawing table to see about adding this functionality. Phenomenal concepts man, thank you for sharing this with the world (also love the single tilt fence idea, been wondering what the best one would be for us and that makes a lot of sense for quick and precise adjustability).

I like your design and noticed a possible improvement, at least for me. As long as the router can move on the table why use a moveable fence. A fixed fence using the router adjustment would be nearly as good. The vertical adjustment can also be a horizontal adjustment.
