x^2-4=Sqrt[x+4] x=(-1-Sqrt[13])/2=-0.5-0.5Sqrt[13] x=(1+Sqrt[17])/2=0.5+0.5Sqrt[17] It’s in my head.

x^2-4=rt(x+4) f(x)=x^2-4 g(x)=rt(x+4) Two graphs of f(x) and g(x) meet at two points of a and b. You can not calculate based on the arithmetic method. But you can find the area where they are. -3
