Good choice on the siding and color. Not long ago,, fire season,, you were fielding questions, suggestions and criticism about living amongst the trees. You have a lot of patience and diplomacy. The choices you make are practical and informed!!! Kudos to you!!! Your skill set is second to none. It is lovely to see how well you work together with such respect and affection. Always a fan.

Katie and Greg, the Hardie plank siding color blends in with the trees and offers woodland fire protection. You will soon be all finished with the siding then you can relax for a while. Blessings to you.

This is a very beautiful video creation from beginning to end, with a good flow that makes it easier to watch from start to finish. I enjoy the music mix you use during this well-edited KZbin show. When I lived in the forest, the sun in the summer rose at ten and set at four. Also, on the farm, everyone has "poop feet' or shoes, especially your dogs.

Love the siding and color choice, it melts into the environment..lol 😂 I understand the roofer/ladders/high places type stuff, but roofers most of the time have the ability to drop, lay flat, or scurry for a handhold. Falling straight off a ladder side with jacks is just that, falling straight off. We're only concerned for ya'lls well being is all. Love ya'll ❤️

That is a beautiful cascade and plunge pool! Awesome spring flow for a warm dry winter. I hope you are saving Guinea feathers for fly tying, chickens too. Remember if fire threatens, takes down curtains and drapes and move combustibles away from windows. Radiant ignition is the risk. Also use metal window screens not synthetic except Kevlar which is fire resistant.

You should look into 3 or4 pumpjacks for scaffolding. They sit on the ground or deck and attach at the fascia, never touching the sidewalls . Start low and pump your way up the sidewalls.

Hi Katie and Greg, great to see you again. You had some nice weather for your siding work. I always enjoy sing the animals incorporated into the videos and you do a wonderful job with the editing Katie. I know the time and effort required to edit these and really appreciate your commitment to making these videos so enjoyable to watch. Juniper and Aspen were certainly having a good time play fighing together. You guys work so well together - Greg is so skilled and able to tackle anything and Katie, over all this time I have watched you develolp your skills and confidence to the point that you are self sufficient and independent; very skilled and productive. I like how you provide narrative about what you are doing and why. The siding is beautiful and your house should be pretty bullet proof once done. Well done! Have a safe and productive week ahead. After watching you balancing up on that ladder in this video, I'm glad I went with a vertical board and batten for our house. The roof peak was at 27' high and being able to use 12' long boards made it much easier to at least get them in place with a few nails, then using the ladder to nail in to the top.

Drive in a stake two feet into soft earth using two inch by two inch timber, behind the bottom wrung of the ladder. It cannot slip on the slippery earth and by keeps you from using the harness if you have a ladder move on you! Also use a bag on a rope for lifting nail guns and tools up and down! Keep safe both of you.

Greg and Katie, For a while now, you have shared with all your followers the enjoyment of making your dreams become the facts of your lives. We've watched and listened to your frustration and seen your solutions - good or bad. We've cheered when you ideas work out and we've saddened when "it just didn't work out". Your dreams, and plans plans are becoming the real facts of life now. I for one would very much like to send you a gift, just to thank you for the joy you've brought to me, watching your many video presentations. If you'll accept this as a gift with no string attached, I'd like to send you a new Wood-Mizer BMS-25, 12 Volt Bandsaw Blade Sharpener - complete. If you agree, I'll pick up the phone and call Wood-Mizer tomorrow and it's on it's way. I assume they know your shipping address.
