In some places with small depth of snow, a blad could be a bit quicker, but they use a shovel as they find that the most useful overall. Other times they use a front mounted snow blower. The teams put to these tasks have decades of experience on these roads.

​@@Rimrock300 I am living in Finland, approximately most northern country in the world. We have all the experience from this field and most of the year is spent to clearing snow. Showel is never used to clear road, not in last 40 years I have lived. It is clear that this guy is just doing his own small private roads and do not have right attachment to the tracktor, they are very expensive. So he uses what he happens to have. That is okay. But in no way it is not suited to purpose. A blade will throw the snow in the arch long way to side and it wont collect as weight in the front of the tracktor, and does not need to push ever largening sidewalls too. Articulated and center jointed pivoting blade can do also gathering what this shovel does when you go across section where you cant throw the snow. But like said this is clear and selfevident from the video, good blade costs easily 40-60k€.
