Even a fully charged brand new battery has it's limitations. Best to fit quick release terminal clamps and remove the battery when not in use. Keeps it relatively warm and removes the possibility of any parasitic draws. That and waxed diesel are the bane of really cold climates.

I feel like the branch cutter needs a row of teeth on the top side as well. Several times you can see branches bypass the cutter by escaping up the top. However, if it were to have that, then that bolt on the hitch won't be enough, as the lever arm force might bent it.

I usually will try it once, maybe twice, and if it doesn't start hit with starting fluid. I usually close it back up (quickly) before I try starting it again. Things while usually starting with start fluid, and it's easier to close it back up without it running. Also, when you hook up the charger, I usually will turn on the lights for a second or bump the start to draw the current in. I'm sure you know all this with all the equipment you have. People think I have a lot of equipment, but you definitely have me bet. That little snowcat is sweet. I didn't get a chance to watch all the videos just the beginning. If you look at offroad logging trailers, they have a feature to help get around obstacles . Basically, it's a tongue that pivots left to right hydraulically. Might add more complexity to a simple design but being able to move the trailer left to right from the cab could really make that more effective branch remover. That design is really effective if you can get it closer to the trees. The only other thing I've seen is a lane shark that mounts on front of something and allows you to brush hog vertically. Iveseen one in action and it seems to work well up to 2" branches.

if you get a blow torch and heat the air going into the intake/aircleaner it will fire up really quick that and a quick birst of engine start in BETWEEN a heat up, HEAT then FUEL then HEAT then FUEL, and it should start very quickly, this method works great in cold climates

well done! A tip on developing the brush cutter. put a small hydraulic cylinder on the drawbar so you can slide the drawbar sideways so the brushcutter is outside the crawler. That way you don't have to drive in the bushes with the crawler.

In Russia, the most popular snowmibile for making snowmobile trails is Buran snowmobile. It is the copy of ski doo Valmont of 1970-s. And it is still produced by RM. It has 2 38cm tracks, so the footprint suits for all snowmobiles and even for making ski track.
