You can also experience this you just may need to travel like I did. I don't drink or smoke or anything like that not only because it's super unhealthy but it's so much wasted money. Cavy Fantstic! I am going to the Christmas islands next year. There are a lot of flats am most fly fish but I will be one of the few using spinning tackle. I don’t own any salt tackle at all. I’m going for 7 days and fishing shallows and casting from the shore for GT’s and down to Bonefish. I need to buy all gear from ground up. I need travel rods (3 piece or 4) for the lighter stuff in the shallows and the bigger stuff in the blue water. I’m nervous about taking the right stuff. What I take is all I get since I’m on an island with no shops. I keep watching and learning but it’s a lot to buy all at once.

California has some amazing places to fish and snorkel, as I'm sure you know. I'm 20 miles east of San Francisco, but at least every couple weeks, I take a drive to coast to smell the salt air. I could never imagine living further inland away from the water!! Hope you make it over!! You'll turn California upside down!! LMAO!!

What a life experience! That GT’s blue was iridescent! Never seen such a color on a fish. You were able to be one with the sea! My dad taught me to swim when I was 2... almost the same time I learned to walk. For me swimming was second nature. So fluid and natural. A real gift!❤️

Confession time. I’m not into fishing at all. Growing up we went camping a couple times and one time in particular we fished. My dad is an all around mountain man fishing, hunting you name it. Anyway I had caught a fish and there wasn’t catch and release this particular day. I realized at that moment fishing wasn’t for me because gutting a fish 🐟or any creature wasn’t something I wanted to do. Maybe it’s a girl thing, it grossed me out. If it was life and death then sure, but as long as I can buy fish at the market no need to go there just yet. Lol 😂 I almost forgot the point of this comment. I’m admittedly addicted to your videos and never thought I’d go out of my way to watch someone catch and release or catch and cook (survival mode) videos. But I love the ocean and seafood 🦞.
