Ohh Chris. If you had your trangia set on you there, you coulda just stacked twigs up in the base and ya got a fire coming out the burner hole. Coukda bought firelighters in asda, stacked them up under the base i stead of the burner and bobs ya uncle. Adapt, overcome, survive lol. Tis a bummerwhen ya stoves gone the journey though. You should do castle stealth camps mate, it is possible to camp in them even when security is on patrol, over the years ive managed to camp at a shit load of them, priory castle is an easy one, close to you, fountains abbey is a great one to do if you wanna be able to explore while taking us with you, only two guards on patrol around the main area there at one time and they were thick lol, not gonna explain where to go, but with a bit of google mapping it's not rocket science 👍
