While me and my wife were on holiday in California from the UK we did get the coach down to Tijuana from San Diego. That was about 30 years ago. I remember a main shopping street, restaurants and markets. We had a great time and felt safe walking around. People were friendly. We have visited California several times since then but never got the chance to have a return visit to Tijuana. Hope to rectify that on our next visit.

I haven't been to TJ since 1992,when I moved from San Diego to Northern California. So when i did got TJ,I didn't have anyone show me all the different restaurants and stuff. It also seemed a bit unsafe and dirtier than other parts of Mexico. I never had artisanal ice-cream before. I did have regular ice cream in Mexico city. Hey had lots of flavors that i never tried. I did notice the ice cream was less creamy and the scopes were smaller. And i don't remember having churros, although I must have.

The Tijuana candy and snacks looks so good. Two dollars for Artisanal ice cream that’s really cheap. Wow you actually walk through water that’s cool. Hopefully it was a good experience. Great video.

Park for free at one of the trolley stations, buy a trolley day pass ($6/person), last station is at the border. Don't leave valuables in the car, bring just what you can carry comfortably. The pay-parking lots are a massive ripoff, too much traffic and assorted BS. Be smart...

I used to go every month But the the New Jalisco Cartel set the city on fire, then there was a gang of girls raiding motel rooms with knives robbing guys, then there was the TED BUNDY copycat hunting girls in Zona Norte, and then Last week when you were supposedly there in the sun it was flooding and even hailing but the major highway was shut down. I was about ready to go but my sources told me that the Jalisco cartel isn't done then I see Adelitas shut down this week for human trafficking which is extremely suspect since there are 14 15 year old's outside you can buy and Hong Kong and the rest do the same so its not impossible to think that the government didn't get paid and Adelitas was targeted which could start new shit. Sooo I want go but the kind of fun most guys like is being targeted by a bunch of odd things, if the government were trying to clean up Zona Norte then why would of they not targeted the rest or the ones outside? Sus
